As u may already of noticed I am a bit of a fan of the Disney Princesses and their films. One aspect about these films that I find really interesting is the kingdoms in which their stories take place, including the buildings and the general surroundings. So I decided to write an artikel discussing each Princesses kingdom. In this artikel I am looking at Walt Disney's princesses ie. the original three.

Name: Snow White

Film: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

Kingdom: Specific name unknown

 (Snow White's castle)
(Snow White's castle)
First on the agenda is Snow White, the "lovely little princess".. but Princess of where? Pre Happily Ever After she lived in her inherited kasteel with her stepmother The Evil Queen and I can only assume that Snow White is volgende in line to the troon of the beautifully animated kingdom she dwells in. I love the original castle, its simple, however still regal and it looks over a very small village as well as having a sea side view. Sounds like my dream property.

 (The Dwarf's cottage)
(The Dwarf's cottage)
Apart from the very small village we see on the shot of the Queen's kasteel the rest of the kingdom that is shown during the film is forest lands, inhabited with cute animals, dark magic, a diamond mine and seven dwarfs. Of course a lot of time Snow White spends during the film is in the cottage of the seven dwarfs that she describes as being like "a little doll's house" which is a perfect description, the Dwarf's humble home pagina is situated over the seven jewelled hills and beyond the seventh fall.

 (Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany)
(Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany)
The country in which Snow White is set in is debatable but the common belief is that it is in Germany. Disney's Snow White is most notably based on Brother Grimm's adaption, who are German writers and are thought to of base this particular fairy tale in Germany. Also based on visual value I think that Snow White's inherited kasteel is very reminiscent of that in German history.

This kingdom represented in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is very significant, gegeven that its the first feature length animated film to be released theatrically influencing all fairytale story lands from the 1930s onwards. Snow White's kingdom is one of my favourites out of all of the princesses. It is heavily based on the natural world, consisting mainly of adorable forest animals, the film doesn't try and be too realistic but rather very child like with un-naturalistic uses of colour and design most notable in the dwarfs.

 (The Prince's palace)
(The Prince's palace)
Snow White's love interest who is only ever referred to as "The Prince" I assume has a kingdom of his own, at the end of the film he takes Snow White off into the distance, we see a shot of his palace which some believe is a Palace in the sky, while others think it is just simply in the far distance, either way it is a beautiful ending shot to Snow White's enduring tale and even though there isn't much detail in this palace that can be noted we all know that this will be the home pagina of Snow White's happily ever after.

Name: Cinderella

Film: Cinderella (1950)

Kingdom: "A tiny kingdom in a far away land"

 (Cinderella's home)
(Cinderella's home)
volgende up is ball japon, jurk and slippers. Cinderella who isn't princess door birth but rather marries into royalty lives in quite possibly the most iconic kingdom out of all the princesses. Like Snow White, Cinderella is brought up door an Evil Stepmother, living in the inherited estate previously owned door her father of whom was an aristocrat of some sort. It is a very beautiful estate that we are made aware that Cinderella grew of age in. The vast majority of the film takes place within this house which allowed the animators to display some beautiful interior designs for the building.

The general kingdom displayed in this film is simply stunning, a very archetypal approach to the visuals of a fairytale kingdom but still very effective and beautiful. The kingdom that is displayed in the film is heavily reliant on blue, white and just a splash of red and pink. The film consists of a very vertical orientation with all the buildings seeming as if they are reaching as high as possible and a constant awareness of symmetry and preciseness.

 (Charming's palace)
(Charming's palace)
The palace in which the royal family live is possibly the most iconic palace ever. However the design of this palace is constantly being changed, throughout the film, the sequels, the merchandise and the palace at Disney World but the way in which the palace is shown in the initial film is simply beautiful, it is essentially the dream palace, an ideal image of what our palace should look like in our very own happily ever afters.

Cinderella's kingdom seems to be very reliant on high society, aristocracy, fancy balls and beautiful man made scenery which contrasts against Disney's vorige princess film Snow White which is associated with the natural world. I am a fan of the film but the story of Cinderella is a very shallow one and the kingdom that she lives in almost matches it with a "style over substance" sense.

 (French Interior Designs)
(French Interior Designs)
The country in which Cinderella is set in is also debatable; some people believe that it is set in England while others say France. What seems to be the most likely is France gegeven that Disney's adaption is most notably based on French takes of the story and most of the visuals in the film simply send off meer French "vibes" rather than English.

Quite simply Cinderella is the most iconic Disney Princess living in the most iconic kingdom, the kingdom where she becomes the princess bride and lives out her happily ever after.

Name: Aurora

Film: Sleeping Beauty (1959)

Kingdom: "A far away land"

 (Aurora's castle)
(Aurora's castle)
Aurora is in my opinion the most beautiful princess of them all and I love her kingdom and just the general design of the film. Aurora was born princess of a fairy tale kingdom in her parents palace, a palace that is possibly my least favourite of all the princesses however it has a look all of its own which creates a rather peculiar shape a bit on the chunky side which actually suits the shapes used throughout the entire film but it is a palace that is easily forgotten.

I really enjoy the musical number "Hail to the Princess Aurora" in which we see the kingdom rejoice in the birth of the leading lady. The small scene is a feast of colour, character, excitement and bouncy music. For the first time in a Princess film we see a mass amount of people whom live in the Princess' respective kingdom.

 (The Woodcutter's cottage)
(The Woodcutter's cottage)
Like Snow White, Aurora's kingdom mainly consists of the main castle/palace, the small village it over looks and forestlands inhabited with cute animals and random cottages, in Aurora's case the "Woodcutter's cottage" that Aurora lives in with the three good fairies until her 16th birthday. The cottage is simply adorable which is indeed tiny but still includes great detail, simplistic colours, it is the kind of home pagina u would some dag want to retire to.

As already stated; Aurora's kingdom mainly consists of forest lands, which differs greatly to the kind of woodlands that Disney have previously created. This time they have experimented greatly with every shape under the sun represented in a very sharp manner in the way of bushes, trees, lakes, cliffs etc gives a very imperfect, pointy elegance corresponding with Aurora's visual details.

 (Eltz Castle, Germany)
(Eltz Castle, Germany)
Like the vorige two kingdoms talked about the country in which Sleeping Beauty is set is debatable, peoples opinions varies between England, Germany and France, I'm unsure if Disney have actually specified.

Sleeping Beauty has a very specific visual design and I think that out of all of Disney's films this is the one that is most influenced door external artistic sources. It is this kingdom out of all the princesses that is animated in the most unique manner.

This goes quite backwards as we don't know which jaar princesses are born. Anyway these are the results. There was no dragon of pig so put their descriptions at the end in case someone's interest.

Tiana-Rat
The rat is hardworking, industrious and shrewd. People born in the jaar of the rat are also charming and have magnetic personalities. It's zei that finding a poor rat is rare, since they are good in business.

As many of u know, I have been conducting a countdown of the most populair love's first kiss scenes. It's been a lot of fun and I'm glad so many people participated! I must say, though, that I find it hilarious that each enquête had about 40 participants and less than half of them commented. I mean it even says in the titel that your vote won't count unless u leave a comment! It doesn't particularly bother me, I have plenty of quotes as it is, I just find it funny. :P On to the results...

8. Cinderella and Charming's kiss

At first I was surprised that they were the first couple to go, considering...

This is a lijst of the ranking of the most girly and feminime Disney princesses. Clothing, hair, accessories, personality affects

11. Merida
Obviously, she is the less girly princess in the line. That curly hair, she doesn't care about her looks either. She isn't the typical "damsel in distress" who only cry waiting for her prince to come. Playing with weapons all day, how can she be the first place in this countdown?

10. Mulan
Even though a warrior, she still has some girl points. She stays graceful, but still hold the tough girl trait. She can't be the last in this rank

9. Rapunzel
Interestingly,...

All right, here's the results of the Favourite Pocahontas Character Countdown! And also my first article, so take a look at the results and (hopefully) enjoy!

15. Ratcliffe
The bad guy of the movie proves to be the least favourite character of most fanpoppers too. Not surprising, considering he isn't one of the most powerful villains in Disney history. He's just greedy and doesn't understand the Indians. Nothing that makes u hide behind the divan, bank with your hands over your eyes.

"He gets on my nerves. Not the best villain either. He's too much of a sissy...

hallo everyone, so this artikel is about my favoriete DP wardrobes. I´m taking into acount the whole wardrobe of just the original film, so outfits from the sequels are not included. I am judging the wardrobe as a whole, so even if a single outfit of the wardrobe is my favorite, I have to take the other ones into acount as well. I might write another artikel later with my favoriete outfits. As with other lists, I might change my mind later on, so here it is.

10.Pocahontas
I do like her dress, but I don´t find it that special and it´s the only thing she wears during the entire movie.

For sure, all Disney’s girls have amazing hair, but some are better than others. Here they are in order voted on fanpop:
 Cute, black and short
Cute, black and short

9.Snow White: last as always. People don’t really like her hair “black as ebony tree” probably because of its shortness. Although cute, her hair can’t really compare to others because there’s not much to do with, can’t make any hairdo of it, it can’t float on wind and it always looks like mass of something, not hair.
 Blond-brown with bangs

8.Cinderella: Another girl with short hair. We never really figured out is her hair brown...

One dag at work, Tiana was working at her new restaurant that was built at the end of the Princess and the Frog movie. Then suddenly Louis my favoriete character comes up and plays jazz with the big boys. Naveen and I were at the tafel, tabel waiting for some fresh good food. Tiana the princess that was married to Naveen comes up and give us what I want and he wants and I waited. Then Tiana's children were playing around with the tables and going nuts. This is a lijst about the most comfortable bedrooms in Disney Princess movies. I made the countdown some months ago, but I just have time and mood to write the artikel now. I included almost all bedrooms we see in the movies, except Mother Gothel's bedroom and Grandmother Fa's bedroom, because theirs are seen too little in the movies. I hope you'll enjoy reading this. To all participants, I say a huge THANK u for picking and commenting.

21. Aladdin's straat bedroom

For now I'm sticking to the usual "who came first" order, but I might mix them up later on.

Character: Top! As my favoriete childhood princess, she will always be something special.

Role Model: top, boven – no middle – no top, boven – no middle. The thing is, I like her in the top, because she is friendly, acts responsible and is an all around positive character. But it does become rather crowded in the top, and there are three princesses I would rank above her.
Beauty: top, boven – it’s easy to make iconen with her, because she looks good from meer of less every angle. From the blue eyed princesses,...

Ok! So here is my review of Frozen's characters! I've already reviewed the muziek of the film, which u can read here (just copy and paste the link: link

INTRODUCTION
I'm just going to say right now....Frozen has some of the best characters of any Disney film. Why? One word: DEVELOPMENT. The characters are all so well developed, and they all have such great and complex personalities (yes, even u Hans). I found that as I watched the film, I realized every character symbolized something. Olaf represented the bond between Elsa and Anna...and Hans, the villain, represented the breaking of their...

The first Disney Princess Movie I watched was Sleeping Beauty when I was a little girl. I liked Aurora, Phillip and the fairy sequences but when Maleficent came on I got bored and hid behind the settee. Causing my mum to think I was scared of Maleficent. My mum wondered if I wanted it to be turned off. I zei no. I sat on the settee and watched the ending, which I loved.

I think I then saw the Princess films in this order - I definitely saw either The Little Mermaid of Beauty and the Beast at the cinema for the seconde release but I can't remember which one:
1. The Little Mermaid
2. Beauty and...

" I am the prettiest!" LOL
" I am the prettiest!" LOL
I was thinking about this a long time ago. The beauty of a princess varies for everyone, but in their own movies, princesses are described as "the most beautiful". There is no beauty problem in every princess, especially those who have love at first sight, and they live a comfortable love life thanks to this beauty. Outward appearances play a big part in the princesses' happy ending. But what if they weren't pretty? How would their lives change? Now we're going to look at that.

Cinderella
Cinderella would never have had a happy ending without her beauty. Because the prince at the ball saw her...
