It wouldn't hurt to make one like that

Not racist or anything, I just don't like to see a fat princess the same way i don't like to see a very skinny princess.

I want a princess with curves like Monicca Belluci, who is not fat but not thin as well. A "healthy" princess. A realistic figure.
Pocahontas was kinda of a nice body but other pricnesses like Ariel and Jasmine were so skinny and it got on my nerves. I just want something normal.

I think having one might give girls who are overweight a little more confidence in themselves when they see that even the bigger girls get their happy ending :)

Well I think it's a good and bad idea because it would make some people who are larger feel better about themselves, but also little 4 or 5 year old girls might look up to that and think "i wanna be just like her" and maybe get larger or obese.

I'm not being mean or any thing, but the princesses, and the heroines too, are supposed to be role models. That's why they're always fit. So why would you make a, ahem no offense, fat role model for little kids? I'm not being mean or anything, I have nothing against bigger people. I'm just saying they're supposed to be the things you aspire to be. In some places we have enough problems keeping kids in shape without someone whose "fat" to say, "Look mommy, if she's fat, why can't I Be?" I think princesses with more realistic figures like Pocahontas and Cinderella, even Snow White was realistic even though she had no boobs, should be made. Not princesses like Jasmine, Ariel or even Rapunzel. It just doesn't look healthy.

I don't think that a larger role model would be bad. Its been my experience that kids wanna be like Disney Princesses don't necessarily want to be that skinny. Most children want to have their hair, the crowns, the clothes. Its when they get older that they start to be self-concious of their image. If children start younger being concerned about their weight it is due to health reasons (family history ect.) and because they are exposed to it at home and don't necessarily understand it. I think having a princess that is large, slightly more than "Normal" would be more realistic and show a different side of things. She doesn't necessarily have to be like extremely obese. Many of my friends are 30 or more pounds heavier than they should be. But my cousin just got married and she looked just as good if not better than any Disney Princess wedding I have seen. Everyone hates on the "fat" people (not necessarily on here but in the world) when the vision of what is healthy depends on more than just a persons size.

Not trying to sound mean just saying my reasoning behind my choice.

People the world doesn't need cartoons to prove how much we love each and every human, this is like saying "if you ignore this comment your a lover of the devil, if you pass it on you love god" Get what I mean? I don't need to produce all this hard animating just to tell you that you look beautiful the way you are and there's no other way you would look any more beautiful than you are now.

HOWEVER, I DO NOT HATE PEOPLE BECAUSE OF WEIGHT, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, APPEARANCE, OR ANYTHING THAT DOES NOT APPLY TO YOUR PERSONALITY, ACTIONS, AND/OR HEART!!!

EDIT:
The only reason someone should lose weight is because of their health.

I think their bodies need to be more averagly shaped but we haven't had any ridiculously skinny princesses since Jasmine in my opinion. Being fat isn't bad but princesses are supposed to be someone that little girls look up to and I don't think that would be the best message for them, although there could be worse.

It doesn't matter... but I don't think little girls would like her as much as the skinny princess. Just like how they wouldn't want to play with a fat Barbie.

Jessikaroo I agree in some points. I also agree with starlight77.
I don't agree that little girls will tell "i want to be fat" if there is a fat princess, though. That seems ridiculous. I am open-minded but do not lie.
We have to accept the truth.
I have nothing against fat people, I have lots of friends but I am not dreaming my "prince" to be fat and I wouldn't be happy if I was fat because of my health!!! I'd have problems with my health.
