Completely showcases a realistic father-daughter relationship where some parents don't truly understand there child and aren't exactly proud of them, and Fa Zhou is so awesome I could hug him in that last scene.

i simply adore their relationship you can tell how much they love each other and how much they mean to the other they truly had the best scenes when Fa Zhou cheers up Mulan after the matchmaker and when they are reunited after the war Fa Zhou did not care one bit about the sword and crest all he wanted was that his little girl came home home i mean he he did not know if she was alive or dead plus i think an Army father had it worse than the Inventor

I dislike both.
I still don't believe that Fa Zhou would be happy to see his daughter returned alive but dishonored. He considered happiness to die pointlessly( he wasn't able to contribute anything to victory due to his health condition) in the battle and didn't care about the fact he is more useful for his daughter while alive. If I were Mulan, after him yelling at her during the dinner I would consider unworthy of any sacrifice.
Mulan loves her dad way more than he loves her. He wouldn't break any traditions or laws for her. Had she been executed, he would never break law to avenge her death by killing Chi-Fu.
Shang is my least favorite Disney Prince.
The only member of cast I like is Mushu.
