I found out a few days ago but before that I had NO IDEA! Her name is Leah Chase and went through a similar story that Tiana went through (minus the whole frogs, magic, voodoo, and talking animals thing) and even shared some of her story and her thoughts on the movie.

I knew her story in the movie was inspired by The Frog Prince/The Frog Princess or whatever that book is called, but I didn't know she was inspired by a real person. That's pretty damn cool.
