Eh. I can't say this is the only reason I find the movie interesting....

Like, I want princesses who will interrupt the status quo to do their own thing, and that's fine. But the excessive focus on "hating romance just for the sake of hating romance" gets old. The Revival movies and their princesses are irritating for the most part, because they preach this viewpoint.

I thought Moana was interesting without a love interest and I think it's a nice change because while it's cool that we have romance in Disney movies, there's a lot of Disney movies where the main character is a guy and doesn't have a love interest so it's nice to see the other way around

It depends. Sometimes, it adds a lot (TLM, BatB, Tangled, etc.), sometimes it's minimal (Snow White, Cinderella), and other times, a movie doesn't need a love interest to be...well, interesting (Moana).

For Disney Princess movies yes. I like many of the Disney movies without a love story, but if they market it as a Princess movie I like to have the romance. <3

Yes i realise that when i watched moana it was a good movie but for me less interesting that the others Disney princess movies with romance
