Shang's cool too, but I really like Mulan's character.

I like Shang and I love Mulan.

Shang annoyed me a little bit by how he shoved Mulan to the side when she was discovered. Yes, I know he saved her life, but he refused to listen to her when she returned to him to warn him about the Huns.

I understand that it was the time period, but I still don't like him as much because of it.

I like both but Mulan slightly.

I love Mulan. Shang's good but he doesn't have that much of an effect on me.

I hate Shang for reasons sunnyfields mentioned. No, I don't take, "She lied to him!" as justification. Sometimes telling untruth is good, right thing to do and I think it's narrow-minded and cold-hearted to believe otherwise. Shang is by far my least favorite Disney Prince.
Mulan has some traits I dislike, I think she is annoyingly self-hating, a bit doormat-ish and too forgiving for her own good but overally she is interesting, relatable and nice.

But I LOVE Shang too!

But Mulan is great too.
