Disney might have made her face prettier too. Loved the story. I based a character on Anastasia.

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of either of them.

When I was a child it was my second favourite movie after Beauty and the Beast and I was sure it's a Disney movie, lol :D

I wish Disney had done Thumbelina and Swan Lake first. I like Anastasia but I wouldn't wish her to be Disney.

I weas in love with Anastasia from the word go. It was my favourite film for years. I love the songs, the story, the characters... If it wasn't for Anastasia, I wouldn't be half as interested in modern history as I am now. I always knew it wasn't a Disney film, but that didn't bother me. It'd still be cool if it was one. Though, if Disney had made it, they probably wouldn't have pumped it with bad, obvious CGI. That really started to irk me when I was about 8. I was like "BAD CGI IS BAD!"
One of the first songs I could sing fully was If I Can Learn To Do It. I love that song sooo much! It's the first thing I associate with Anastasia. People mention her and it starts playing in my head.

My favorite non-Disney princess ^^ I never liked Anastasia and haven't seen Thumbelina...

Love the movie, the story, the characters, the music, everything! I always wished that Disney would just buy the rights to the movie and add her to the lineup. Dimitri and Anya are my favorite movie/fictional couple ever! "At the Beginning" is my favorite song ever! It's sooo good.
