"Ugh, Bridgette, let GO of me, NOW!" I ordered.
"Not until we listen to the music!" Bridgette exclaimed.
"And besides, the lead singers are cute!" Sarah chimed in.
I looked up at the stage to see a band setting up their guitars, microphones and drum set.
"Testing. Testing. 1234" a male with a roze button up overhemd, shirt grinned wildly.
"Alright Geoff, enough" a punk holding an electric gitaar scolded one of the lead singers.
"Calm down Duncan. He's only testing the microphone for u and him" another male with longish black hair muttered.
"Whatever, Trent" Duncan hissed.
I was intrigued door the way he acted, for some reason. He looked into the crowd and when he looked at me, he stopped.
I couldn't tear my gaze away from his until a loud static sound could be heard, like a very high pitched scream, which knocked me out of my trance.
He smirked, winked and looked away, strumming lightly on his guitar.
Then, the most horrific sound could be heard.
Screamo music...
I looked up to find Trent...

(TDI, TDA and TDWT never happened)
I was toppled over door scrapbooks, ribbons, medailles and a big canvas bag when I opened the closet door. What really caught my eye was the huge canvas sack that almost pulverized my leg. I wrenched myself out and pulled the bag over to my bed. I dug out my little sister's, Cookie's (her real name is Charlise), little plastic "Sheriff" badge and giggled. I placed it down and pulled out an unopened letter that I never have seen before. I opened and read it:
Dear Miss Courtney Langerak,
Thank u for help saving our ranch from MorcuCorp! We really appreciate your concern for all of the horses and the ranch. u are welcome to come here anytime!
From,
Vickie
Barry
Duncan
and the rest of Carousel Ranch!
I ran my fingers over the printed words, especially Duncan's. There was a picture in the envelope of me and Duncan. I now remember how we helped Carousel Ranch like it was yesterday...
