I think most of Fanpop users are very nice people, with some exceptions, just like on any other social media site.

I generally get along with everyone here with a few exceptions. Honestly I even like some of the trolls like zilla and crazed. They don't really hurt anyone and are kinda funny. I can think of maybe one user that's still around who I don't care for but I just don't talk to them. No sense in arguing.

That's one of the reasons I don't come here that often. The other one is of personal nature. My husband doesn't like me posting anything on any social media, not just this one. He thinks it's a total waste of time and also the invasion of privacy. I think he's right. People reveal too much personal information when they're online. That's why I had to edit my profile to hide my full name and to close my wall. Some people even use mail for spreading rumors and gossip about other users. That's just mean. When I joined this site, I thought all people are nice and friendly, but after spending so much time on this site, I changed my mind completely. Most people are rude, or just mean to other people, report other users for no reason, post nasty comments with personal insults against some user whose opinion they disagree, calling people names, hurting everybody's feelings (including my own!) by un-fanning someone over a difference of opinion. You have no idea how horrible people can actually be on social media!! Some users don't have any self-control! Freedom of speach is not absolute! There's also a lot of hate speach on this site. I don't like rude people. They post nasty comments only to hurt other people. That's not nice! If you don't like somebody, don't go insulting that person in your comments. People have feelings, even when we're online. I have feelings too! I'm not made of stone, you know! There are very few people on this site who are really nice to other people. Most users are so horrible to everybody else. That's no way to get you a popularity you seek on social media, so stop treating other people like they're trash!!!

I forgot to mention the people who keep reporting (my) quizzes and polls. It's not my fault you don't know the right answer in a quiz, or if you don't like my opinion in a poll! There's always a Skip question for all those who don't know the right answer. If you disagree with someone in a poll, try to be polite and don't insult other users by calling them stupid, or telling them to drop dead, or to f*** off, or even worse!!! That's just wrong!! Think how would you feel if somebody would be so rude to you! Think twice before you type! Thank God we can edit our comments in clubs, so you don't have to be such a badass all the time! People can be so cruel to other people!! Sometimes, I read some nasty comments and it makes me sick!! I mean, really sick! Most people on any social media today are too cruel and too cold for my taste. Nobody cares about anybody on social media anymore!! Like I already said once before: How can you have a social media with anti-social people?!? Don't be rude and mean to other people! That's not the way!! We should all be friends on this site, not enemies, but when I take a look at what some people think, by reading their (old) comments, or wallposts, and I think of myself: My God, why did I ever become a friend with somebody who's being so rude to other people?!? Some users hate everybody! Some even hate themselves! Whatever happened to love and understanding for each other on this site?!? I mean, are we people or wild animals??? Fanpop could be such a nice place for having fun, if there were no rude people to destroy this site from within. This could be heaven for everyone! Fanpop could be the most wonderful social media ever, only if we all try to be nice to other people, all the time. I think we should all be friends, but with so many fake friends, who needs enemies anyway???
