I joined the Christianity Spot a while back to pose a handful of (always respectful!) questions and meet a little bit opposition for my ideas. When it was clear that my positions weren't well received, I graciously backed down. But that's about when I started the link.

My point is, I can't stand Twilight, so I stay as far away from it as possible. Unfortunately, its fans don't stay as far away from me as possible. I would never willingly walk into the lions' den, but if the lions want to come out and play, well, then, they best be prepared for my tranquilizer darts, if you know what I mean. ;o) ;o)

It's super rude to walk into a spot and insult what it was made for. It's like walking into someone's home and telling her she has no taste at all when it comes to decorating and art. That's just bad manners. But if you want to criticize her taste in a public place like the park, well, that's different. Things are fair game then. But no, you don't go into a spot just to insult it. We have a word for that here, and it's "trolling."

I agree cinders, I wont be caught dead in the twilight spot yet they seem to think it is ok to post twilight stuff in other non twilight spots and then get insulted when someone disagrees with them... but I would never deliberately go in to there spot and bash them that is just disrespectful...:)

Don't let the rednecks and dimwits get to you Cinders, there are plenty of people on the Christianity spot who'd like to discuss different religious views, you just have to ignore those who try debating when they can't imagine there not being a God; 'erego coming up with circular logics.

hmmmm okay i wouldn't say i went in to the spot to make fun of it but someone made a spot that as far as i could see was exactly the same as a already existing spot, the creator insited it wasn't due to some slight play of words in the name and I went in there to question how.....i still think the spot is the same but now there's so much content in it i don't think it will ever be deleted now even though 99% of the content is the same as that in the original spot

I don't know whether that counts or not

and lol cinders i very much so get what you mean about the twilight fans, i would never dream of going in any twilight spot but i don't mind making sparkly vampire jokes in the vampires spot :D

When I dislike something enough to even possibly want to troll this way, I wouldn't want to actually go to its club and see loads of content about it and people gushing about how much they love it. Much better to try to ignore those fandoms' existence.
