(Kurt is looking at himself in the mirror hung in his locker door. He turns and sees Blaine in front of him.)
Kurt: Blaine. How nice to see u again.
Blaine: Today's enquêtes are in. It seems to be that your ahead of Brittany and Rachel. You're a shoe-in to win this thing.
Kurt (smiling cleverly): Well, this calls for a celebration. I say we meet at the Lima boon afterschool for meer campaign strategies.
Blaine (nodding): Fair enough.
Kurt: Say, can I ask u a question?
Blaine: Anything.
Kurt: Do u ever keep in contact with the Warblers anymore? u know, u sort of...left them to come here, and--
Blaine: I have times with them. u know, sometimes, we would go down to the arcade and play Pac Man of something like that. Maybe go see action films, sing at churches, think about 9/11.
Kurt: Pretty decent, I guess.
(The two start to walk down the hallway together, heading off to their last class of the day. Kurt couldn't help but think about Blaine's leaving to McKinley could result in the Warblers losing at Sectionals.)
Kurt's Thoughts: Everyone at Dalton would be pretty upset, wouldn't they?
Kurt: I can't help but wonder how this will affect everyone back at Dalton. They'd probably throw some sort of tantrum because u only wanted to be here for me.
Blaine (turning to Kurt): There won't be any tantrum. Like I told u before, I don't want to be separate from the person I love the most.
(Kurt smiled at him, looking at his dreamy eyes. It's like a magnet in his head to him.)
Kurt's Thoughts: Everything's...fading away. He's the only one I can see. It's like this wonder of nature that's telling me that I should care about the one thing I love best, and to not be afraid. Oh, how this world has changed into something special.
Blaine (out loud): KURT!
Kurt (stutters): Oh, uh--I, I'm--sorry.
Blaine: Not a problem. I'll see u afterschool.
(Blaine walked away to his last class. Kurt watched him leave.)
Kurt's Thoughts: I wonder if he knows that I'm staring at his butt.
Blaine's Thoughts: Yes, I do.
(Suddenly, Mercedes accidentally budged into Kurt, almost knocking down his books. She generously offered to pick them up for him.)
Kurt: Thank you, Mercedes. What seems to be the problem?
Mercedes: I quit Glee club.
Kurt: What?
Mercedes: All I wanted was to keep from being a background person, and Rachel's taking that away from me. Can't I have anything? No one ever likes to bring Rachel down.
Kurt (nodding): Well, I agree with you. At one point, I was to be elected to be the president of the culinary club, but she kept butting heads with me.
Mercedes (holding the school paper): Looks like you're on top, boven today.
Kurt: Why thank you.
Mercedes: I wonder how that happened.
(There were cries coming from the other side of the hallway, and laughs coming from the surrounding students. Kurt and Mercedes went to see what was going on. Then they could clearly see Santana sitting on the floor in front of a water fountain, crying and taking her ponytail down. Students stood there, making fun of her. Kurt spotted Jacob and pulled him to the side.)
Kurt: What is going on?
Jacob: The whole school knows about Santana's secret, and some students are changing their minds about voting for Brittany.
Kurt: Who would do such a thing?
Jacob (stutters): Um...I...I did.
Kurt (shocked): What?
Jacob: Bright side is that you're in the lead so far. So...isn't that kind of...you know, ironic of u to think...that way?
Kurt's Thoughts: Yeah. Brittany stopped helping me after complaining about the campaign posters she worked very hard on for me. Now, she's proving that girls run the world, which made me drop in the polls. And Rachel ditched me after worrying about not getting that stupid role in the school musical. As far as Santana goes...well, she was one of the very people that made fun of me for my sexuality. So, it is kind of ironic of me to say that just then. Maybe I should cherish this moment.
(Mercedes stood over Santana and pointed at her.)
Mercedes: Serves u right for calling me 'Wide Load' the other day, huh, Satan?
Kurt (budging through people and pointing at Santana): Yeah, u lose, bitch!
(Everyone laughs at Santana again, and she runs to the ladies' bathroom. Kurt raises his arm in the air and smiles.)
Kurt: Kurt Hummel for president!
(As everyone starts cheering, Mercedes spots Rachel and Brittany in the clearing, looking mad at her and Kurt.)
Mercedes's Thoughts: Oh, hell to the nizzy no! I've gotta get out of here before they suspect something!
