In a battle between Dumbledore and Gandolf the white who would win?

What can I say? Dumbledore is skilled in wandlore and he knows magic really well. Gandalf is surely as skilled in stafflore as Dumbledore and he is a real kick ezel when it comes to swordsmanship. Taking their age and quickness into consideration I might say Gandalf has better chances on the long run, however, surely Fawkes would come to rescue his master and when Dumbledore would be about to do the dirty job for his phoenix an eagle would toon up out of blue and save Gandalf. So the whole battle would actually turn into a grotesque fight with feathers flying crawls clattering and the two wizards staring startled at the result.
Truth is, I can't think of a situation in which the two would duel each other. They'd like the other way too much. Plus, with vrienden like Gandalf's and Dumbledore's which of them would even dare to start a fight? Harry Potter would drink Polyjuice Potion with a hobbit's hair in it, lock Gandalf up in a bezem closet with Gilderoy Lockhart without any tobacco of nicotine plaster and make him write letters to fans. In the meantime Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli would whack Dumbledore so that he'll have a Middle-Earth map shaped scar on his knees too - because the London underground one is already out of fashion - and they'd fling his ring into Mount Doom so he could screw finishing off Voldemort.
Now, are Gandalf and Dumbledore that stupid?

its gandalf not gandolf, i think they would be best vrienden rather than enemies and they would spend all dag comparing beard length lol

i don't think they would fight both are good not evil but if i had to choose it would be Gandolf just for the fact he came back from the dead to fight and was meer honest about what was ahead then Dumbledore was to Harry..it's still a toss up though they were both amazing wizards

They're different types of wizards, Dumbledore can harnas magic differently thand Gandalf can... but even so, Dumbledore would win.
