With Sirius, it was one of those "watery-eyed, but not really crying, more just teary" moments. I love Sirius but I just didn't cry that much. With Cedric I was okay, it's not like I was really attached to him or anything. But Dumbledore...oh God every time I read that part I just sob...I cry when Harry watches him fall off the tower...when he sits down by his crumpled body...when every one is mourning in the hospital wing...and the line that really sends me bawling...

"And he knew, without knowing how he knew it, that the phoenix had gone, had left Hogwarts for good, just as Dumbledore had left the school, had left the world...had left Harry."

I just finished rereading this book for about the 100th time this night, I only just finished crying.

actually, none of their deaths set me off, the only death in any of the books that made me tear up was when Dobby died, when he squeaked out one last "Harry Potter." (wipe tear away).

I didn't really cry with any of these, but I was teary when Sirius died. But i bawled like a baby when Dobby died! That was just so sad!

The stupid thing was that at the start of book 6 i was so fed up with Dumbledore that I was hoping he would die but when he died I cried anyway.

But I cried more with Dobby and Fred. Fred's death really made me sad.

I cried over his, and I went back and reread the part over and over again for 10 minutes or more just to make sure it really happened.

Sirius death was so sad. He was the only connection that Harry had with his family (not counting with the Dursleys).
Plus, i LOVE Sirius. <3
I'm still in denial, i can't believe that he died. ='[

Between this i had to pick Sirius Black because he is a good godfather (yes a little irresponsible but cool and nice)

but the more sad death was the death of Fred Weasley

How could someone cry for Cedric (besides book characters)? I almost cried for Dumbledore, but I didn't. Sirius's was so sad.

i cried when i watched the movie and he died

even though now every time i watch the movie i think the way they made him like float into the veil was dumb

It was the first movie that made me cry in ALL my entire life. The first time I saw Ced, I loved him. I still love him, and will always remember him <3

I agree with Spikes_girl, In the book Dumbledores death (on par with dobby's and snapes) is the worst, just thinking about it brings a tear, Him begging snape to kill him ( thou we thought at the time he had been beggin for his life), falling over the battlements, he would have looked as thou he was asleep had it not have been for the awkward angle of his body, harry straightening his glasses, realising numbly that the horcrux was already gone that he had suffered for nothing,
and to kick everyone while they're down, fawkes's echoing song, "And he knew, without knowing how he knew it, that the phoenix had gone, had left Hogwarts for good, just as Dumbledore had left the school, had left the world...had left Harry." that sentence there had me in a blubbering mess it's a miracle i cud read the rest through the tears lol
Sirius's death is ,and rightly so, made more emotional and sad in the film due to the great acting of dan radcliff and because we cud c the reactions 4 ourselves, but it happened so suddenly that i cudn't quite process it, lke lupin and tonks deafs it jus didn't seem real
As for cedric, ppl only feel really sad he died now they no he's actual can be gud looking as edward, thou amos's cries did make me sad in both the film and the book but nowhere near to the extent of any other gud-guy death in the book
However we have yet to c dumbledores death so ppl who said sirius cos of the film shud wait to c how they feel after july 17th :)

Cedric i cry alot. sirius died was sad,but i dont cry and Dumbledore is not died yet.

Harry's reaction on sirius death was the worst the way he cried and the way he went to0 fight belatrix in order to take revenge welled mo0st tears in my eyes

I didn't cry when any of them died. But I felt sad the most with Cedric. I think it's because he was just a teen who had NO idea what was going on. Also I think that he was the most innocent of the three.

I picked him because I cried of Happiness . The other ones were sad.

With Sirius,I was like--Oh,that's sad.With Dumbledore- I was literally crying.I was reading the book and I was clutching my chest at the same time.I felt like i was being torn in two.I couldn't breath,the pain is too intense.He was like a father to Harry.He was always there for Harry,always watching over him,never pushing him to do anything,instead, allowing him to decide for himself but always there when things gets out of hand.
I can still feel this hollowness whenever I read the last book.How different things might have been if Dumbledore were alive,...but then again,it helped Harry in the end.

I don't really like Dumbledore... he set Harry up!

Cedric's death didn't really make me cry, but in the movie, his father's crying made me cry a few times. When Sirius died, I cried a little. But in Order of the Phoenix, it was just an angry book. When Dumbledore died, I bawled like a baby. I just sat there and cried, and I was like "damnit!" And when the movie came out, even though I was expecting it, I still cried like a baby. It's just so sad, and it happened so fast. I even cried when I listened to the soundtrack when that moment came.

I reaaly cried when Dumbledore died... I cried all the night in my bed. Sirius was sad, but maybe when you just stop seeing a person is not that sad (Sirius) but when you have to say goodbye to a body (Dumbledore) you take conscious that you'll never going to see him again...

i guess coz he was the same age bout the time i was watchin it so got me upset

i cried with all three, Cedric because of his father's reaction, Sirius because he is soo awsum and harry's reaction got to me and Dumbledore cuz he was kickass and reminded me of when my grandpa died and also cuz of how everyone reacted oh and the music always gets to me :P

I was watching HBP again yesterday and I ended up crying. Yeah, he was older than the others, but his death was still the saddest. I thought Sirius' was sad too, but we didn't get to read much about him compared to Dumbledore. We had only known him in 3 books, and in the first book, we all thought he was a bad guy.

I cry everytime I see or remember sirius death but when it coes to dumbledore's death I cry like a baby :(

I really couldn't care less about the other two, even Sirius. He just didn't ever seem there for me. I never liked him. I never cared about him. And I've only known Cedric for one book. I've known Dumbledore since the first chapter.
