as far as I can tell it means the set has very limited entrance, which points to a delicate scenario that needs privacy and special attention - either because of sex/nudity or intense emotions. it can be closed for other reasons too, like security, special requests from people involved, secrecy, etc.

OK I am trying to think rationally here, and the only plausible reason I can think of for the "closed set" is HUDDY SEX with a substantial amount of SKIN SHOWING! Also, I will die if they are having an intense and emotional discussion right before it, which would also be a reason for the "closed set."

Yeah, a closed set is when there is nudity involved or the actors involved don't want to feel self-conscious about the intense emotions they show, because it can stop them from completley letting themselves go and can get really frustrating.

I hope its teh sex, and I think we may be right. Closed set will be just for HL,LE and the director/producer with limited camera crew and I mean limited. I hope one of the big guns directs it, since they can convey the right emotion in the scene :D
