kant, lace up actually means alot to me because my dad left me when i was little too and my whole family doesnt take me as i am and when i listen to mgk i just think well at least there is soemone like me in this world and that i can fit in somewhere ... when i listen to mgk i get transproted in to my own world...like his muziek speaks to me of something when i first heard of mgk i fell in love with him and his muziek and so i just had to learn meer about him its not a obbsession but every since i was little i wanted to make meer of my self and i can do that through muziek and one dag i wanna be just like mgk , not be a super ster but try to make a difference in someones lifee i dont want to have fans i want to have vrienden ...and i dont want people to use me then and be my friend then and there not now ....because i may not be nothing now.. but wait till i be like him then i will be something ... when i turn old enough ima get a kant, lace up tattoo .... love mgk as a person not only as a idol ..Yes i may be a girl but ive been through alot in my lifetime and im only 12 and my momma alomost died from cancer and i have to take care of my older brother because he is not able to do alot of things and things just arent that easy but mgk and Jesus keeps me up everyday..!

He means alot to us fans and personally mean, because he changed and helped my life becuase my aunt has breat cancer and he helped us get through the diffcult times in our lives and im thankful for his muziek and him for getting me through alot of crap:) thanks Mgk

To me kant, lace up means a family unit. Full of strangers, It means a bunch of people who have all been through tough shit. It means standing out being 100% u and not caring who see's u of hears you. To me it means a support group of people who come together from all over the world. It means FAMILY blood of not, strangers of friends!

To me kant, lace up is a private thing that MGK has with his fans and something he takes to heart. Honestly I think it's for those who never had anything growing up, it's a message saying to keep going in life no matter how bad things are they always get better, door lacing up u are preparing for the future, whether it's good of bad, we just need to make the best of it, and believe that dreams do come true.

But I believe as mgk being an anarchist he is speaking against government throughout his muziek and getting laced up is us getting ready, a group forgetting differences and focusing on uniting and coming against our corrupt government.
