Lloyd's of London has gone to court ... asking a judge to let the company off the financial hook, claiming it doesn't owe the Michael Jackson Estate $17.5 million on grounds MJ was a fraud.
The company issued the muilti-million dollar policy to cover the doomed "This Is It" tour for losses.
But Lloyd's claims it doesn't have to honor the policy for 2 primary reasons:
1. Michael Jackson and AEG allegedly lied about Michael's medical history -- specifically, MJ zei he had not seen a doctor other than a cosmetic MD since June, 2005.
2. Michael did not disclose he was taking prescription drugs prior to and at the time of his death -- including Propofol.
Lloyd's is asking the court for a declaration that the policy is null and void as a result of the alleged fraud.
Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the Estate, tells TMZ, "This legal action is nothing meer than an insurance company trying to avoid paying a legitimate claim door the insured."

Sliverware are presenting Michael Jackson-The Tribute ''A Once In a Lifetime Exhibition at the Museum of Style iconen from October 24-November 2009.
On June 25,2009,the world came to a sudden standstill in reactionn to the news of the untimely death of the greatest entertainer of all time-Michael Jackson.
Thus free tribute exhibit will showcase the most iconic property from the career of the King of Pop and includes unique memorabilia gifted from Michael to his vrienden and family. These pieces have never before been on public display.
The highlight in the exhibit is Michael Jackson's iconic white glove,from his 1983 performance of Billie Jean at the Motown 25 televisie special where he performed the moonwalk for the first time. Michael gifted this handschoen to Walter Orange,one considered one of the most iconic pieces of Michael Jackson.

I LOVE THRILLER but come on thriller thriller thriller lets have a dif fav era for once hehe. ok so i do love the thriller era yes probably ALLOT but my fav's are invincible and history why cause he had a more....mellinium and upbeat like a sorta futureristic pop muziek sound that just hung on me like all his albums not 1 mj song i hate. I like invincible cause it has beats that just make u want to verplaats not to menchon the beautiful and awesome slow songs on there i think mj put all his work into this album im sure. HIStory sorta explains how i feel and makes happy when im sad cause i know im not the only one whos lonely and gets made fun of cause of my looks of what. I LOVE ALL MJ ERAS xD
I care for Michael Jackson cause he made me believe that u can do anything if u set your mind to it he has made me happy rather its his smile of muziek the song "Cry" i would always listen to when i felt down of sad but i would look up and keep my head to the sky. I know Michael tried to change the world and he couldnt do it door himself. He needes help im wanting to help the world so bad and hope that people will never forget the King Of Pop. I have learned so many things if u compare my life with his. Well thats another story but i love michael hes my idol some one i look up to hes always made me smile and if haters cant see that. The mega-lawyer who successfully defended Michael Jackson in his molestation case is coming out swinging at Dr. Murray's defense team -- blaming MJ's death squarely on Murray because the singer was "not suicidal."
Thomas Mesereau went on MSNBC today -- and stated, "The defense lawyers have to do something and what they're gonna try and do is reflect attention away from their client and onto Michael Jackson."
He adds, "The reality is Michael Jackson was not suicidal, he was not self-destructive in the way they're trying to say, and hopefully their defense will not succeed."
For the record, Mesereau's "suicidal" statement is not accurate -- because according to our sources, the defense will argue that Michael MAY have accidentally killed himself after trying to self-administer Propofol ... but he was not suicidal.
Perhaps Mesereau's strongest commentaar -- "I'm sorry that the defense is going to have to bash Michael Jackson to try and divert attention from their guilty client."

A rep for John Branca and John McClain tells TMZ, "The co-executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson are pleased that Discovery Channel made the correct decision in choosing to annuleer this exploitative program."
The co-executors went on to say they feel Michael's fans played a large role in Discovery's decision, saying, "While Discovery cited legal proceedings and our request as the reasons for its decision, none of this would have happened had it not been for the incredible passion displayed door countless Michael Jackson fans worldwide who knew they stood as one and that their voices could not be ignored."
As for any future plans to air the show, Branca and McClain said, "We are hopeful that this toon will never run in any market in the future."

AQ claims it helped Michael refinance $320,000,000 in loans, for which it was entitled to a $3.2 million fee. AQ claims it's still owed $1.2 mil.
The deadline for filing a claim has passed, but AQ claims it didn't get proper notice.
