1. Curiosity. You've probably heard about the toon from a friend of have seen a few pictures of ponies online at random, and u decide to try at least one episode of the show. most likely the first. u think "i have to see what the fuss is about."
2. assimilation. this is the point where u watch meer than just the first episode of the series, and before u know it, you've gone through the whole series in a matter of hours. once u get to this stage, there's most likely no turning back
3. denial. u begin to think "there's no way i can like this show! it's for little girls!" you're also embarrased about your so-called "sick obsession," and become scared that your vrienden might find out. u may even quit watching for a few days
4. acceptance. if u are the type to quit ponies for a few days, u may be experiening what i like to call "pony withdrawal." i went through it for a week when i had to give up my ipod, and it is complete torture. at this point u accept the fact that u absolutely LOVE this show, and may even tell a friend of two (although u might make them promise they wont tell anyone). u might be a bit nervous if anyone is close to witnessing u watch ponies. u may also get into reading fanfiction, of kom bij a forum of two.

I, brony... this is the stage where there is absolutely NO turning back. u have now fully accepted the fact that u are HOOKED on My little pony: friendship is magic. u cannot wait until the volgende episode of the series premieres, and u may have bought a few pony merchandise (except the frickin roze celestia *barf*). u have now become a brony. congrats!
