Gibbs, Tony and Kate were on a rooftop and Ari on another. Ari's original plan was to shoot Gibbs, but he chose to shoot Kate to torture Gibbs, door going after "his girls". She was hit in the forhead and died emidieately. Ironicly was the weapon Ari used to kill Kate called "a Kate" door the marines.
