The dag my life was changed forever started out normal. I was sitting on my couch, eating kettle corn, watching TV, home pagina alone. I was just about to grab another handful of kettle maïs when the phone rang. I quickly jumped off of the divan, bank and picked it up.
"Yellow?" I zei carelessly. "Hello, is this Lilah Nilmot?" a fancy-sounding voice asked. "Yes..." I said, wondering why this fancy person knows my name. "You geplaatst a video of u and your vrienden singing a song on YouTube, right?" the person asked. "Um, yeah, I did." I said, probably sounding surprised. "Well, I work for the band known as One Direction, and they saw your video and LOVED it." the voice said. I gasped, trying not to scream. "They will be in the Arizona area and would love to meet you," the voice continued, "Is that alright?" "Y- -yes!" I smiled. "That would be- - fantastic!"
"Excellent," the person said. "We plan to visit u volgende week. Bring your vrienden that were in the video and no others! Good-bye." I hung up the phone and screamed. I literally COULD NOT control myself. I grabbed a hoofdkussen, kussen from the divan, bank and screamed into it. I jumped on my bed for about 10 minutes, screaming my head off. After 30 minuten of jumping, yelling, and screaming, I was pooped. And I think my voice was gone.
The doorbell ran. I limped over to the door and opened it. There stood Theresa, looking worried. "Are u okay?" she said. "I heard u screaming and I thought- -" "I'm fine," I croaked, managing to smile. "And I need to tell u something."
After I told Theresa, she did the same thing I did. We both ran to Hailey's house and told her, then we all ran to Bethany's house and told her. Soon all four of us were dashing to Mary's house, smiling like idiots. After we told Mary, we all ran back to my backyard and climbed into the boom house.
After we all calmed down, Hailey grinned. "This is just.... EEEEEEEE!!!!" Mary smiled, too. "I know! I can't believe we are ACTUALLY going to meet ONE DIRECTION!" We all giggled until I stopped them. "You know, we can't act like this when they're here, right?" Bethany laughed. "Yeah, they'd leave right away."
We all talked about how excited we were to meet One Direction, what we were gonna ask them, what we were gonna wear. We all went home pagina and waited for Sunday to come.
