HarperCollins acquires 'X Factor' boyband one direction!

HarperCollins is publishing a book door "X Factor" finalists One Direction volgende maand to coincide with the "X Factor" tour.

As a fan and champion of rap and urban music, we didn't have Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand down as a boyband kind of guy.

But here is Rio partying with the lads from X Factor pop band One Direction after the big game at Old Trafford this week.

Heart-throb youngster Harry Styles, from Holmes Chapel had been to watch the Reds beat Stoke 2-1 with his dad and his bandmate Louis Tomlinson, and they bumped into Rio in the players' lounge.

We screamed for One Direction every single week of the X Factor 2010.

And the boys were back on stage in Scotland last night reminding us fans exactly why we love them so much.

Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn drove the crowd crazy at the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh, belting out Viva La Vida, Forever Young, Torn, Chasing Cars and Only Girl (In the World).

And the lads are now getting excited about their potential UK stadium tour - (cue massive scream).

Former soldier Craig Glaze, who was dating the One Direction star's sister Nicola, died after he was punched in the head.

It is alleged that Craig was confronted door his best friend Martin Gannon, an ex-lover of Nicola's who had just discovered Craig was dating her, on New Year's Day.
