The penguins fall under the spell of Skipper's idol in The Red eekhoorn and in It's About Time Kowalski's future self visits and orders his present self to stop working on his time machine.

Let me just add that I am psyched that there's gonna be a season 2, because my paranoid self kept thinking it would end after Blowhole, and now that I know it's not, i'm so happy! So I guess now I'm ...hyper-psyched? Maybe..^^

u know what I really want to know? How far into the future is it? And why is he ordering himself not to work on the time machine? Also, wouldn't that cause some kind of conflict in the time paradox? :P

Well if he's ordering himself not to make it, somthing tells me something bad happens in the future, so if the Kowalski in the present doesn't make it the future will be nice.
