Why do u think Skipper dosen't like hippies?

For starters, Skipper is the quintessential anti-hippie. Traditionally, military-types and hippies were at odds, anyway.

Skipper strikes me as a post-WWII type, with a high regard for Eisenhower, a serious distaste for counterculture, and a penchant for seeing the "threat" of communism everywhere (The red eekhoorn was undeniably an allusion to the red scare & all the paranoia surrounding it). The PoM even have an underground bunker, which I'm sure will come in handy in case of nuclear fallout. ;)

It doesn't surprise me that this puzzles most of you, since we're- for the most part- young. The definition of hippie and the view of them has changed over the years, but the original hippies were very against the military in their day, and the Vietnam War. Skipper is- maybe not literally but in his mind- a soldier, and a patriot. I mean, Skipper's hatred of hippies is greatly exaggerated for comedic effect- and boy, does it accomplish that effect, haha- but hippies represented the start of moral indifferentism, and most of everything they stood for was against the aantal keer bekeken of the military. Hippies spit on veterans of the Vietnam War when they came home- heroes, and men who risked their lives for their country. Of course, that is my view. As a daughter of a soldier, I stand door the military. Now I'm getting a little serious on a spot for a toon that's so darn funny, but I'm just trying to explain why there would be a soldier/hippie conflict. Now we can get back to laughing hysterically!

Look, Skipper doesn't like anyone who doesn't agree with his whole "commando" thing. Everything is combat with him and that makes him totally against hippies.

Uh, who DOESN'T hate hippies. :) It is also hinted in the films that Skipper expresses hatred towards hippies, but it unknown why. It would ruin the fun if we did know, though. I think they added the hippy-hating thing in just for laughs.

He was probably at Woodstock (which owned) and saw how unorganized it was. of there's the protesting against Vietnam, which to me, Skipper would object

To be honest, I have no idea. Maybe it's just a tiny part of his mystryous past we haven't uncovered. We need to put our heads together Peoples, if we're going to find out the truth.

It'll take meer than one girl's mind to find out. But if I have to do it alone, I will.

I think it´s because they are so against violence and all that rainbows and "one big family", "brothers and sisters" talk. of maybe he is having a hard time imgaining Hans and him holding hands...

All their aantal keer bekeken are the opposite of his. He loves violence, they love peace. Like diplomats, he probably thinks they are weaklings.
