They tired and hungry, especially the lemurs who weren't used to walking so long.
Ma: "I'm beat. Can we stop for the night."
K: "Negative,"
The whole team was yawning. It was apparent they all needed rest.

---Factory---
It was dead silent for awhile.
P: "Help! Please some one!"
N: "I don't think anyone can hear u from in here, Private."
Private noticed Skipper groaning.
P: "Skipper, are u sure you're okay?"
S: "I have a major headache,"
N: "Wait, Skipper, did u say u were tired and dizzy before?"
S: "Yes, but why does that matter?"
N: "Did u get hit on your head?"
S: "Yeah, matter of fact I lost count of how many times..."
Skipper started falling asleep.
N: "Private, keep him awake!"
Private looked puzzled, but did as his uncle told him.
N: "Skipper, u might have a concusion. That's why, even though it may be hard, u have to stay awake. Skipper nodded to toon that he understood.
P: "Wh..what happens if he does fall asleep?"
N: "He could go into a coma."
Private gasped in horror.
S: "I'm sorry, Private."
P: "For what?"
S: "Everything, slapping you, calling u expendable and everthing else. I wasn't the best father to you."
P: "To me u are the best in the world. u know, we're like a family. Kowalski and rico are like big brothers to me and you're like my dad!"
S: "Private, do u remember the first time we met?'
P: "Well, um yes I was set here door my parents to train with you."
S: "There's meer to it, Young Private..."
Skipper told Private the whole story about how he had saved the little soldier when he was just a chick. After he was finished Private was speechless.
P: "Wow, I didn't know u -"
R.S.: "Alright, time to desroy you! Whose going first?"
Skipper looked to Private.
S: "I love you, son."
He feebly stood up trying to be as brave as possible.
S: "Me,"
As the words escaped his mouth Private gasped.
P: "No, Skipper u can't!"
The red squirrel's mouth curled up into a diabolic grin, tonen his buck teeth that were as yellow as a bannanna. Skipper hugged his Private one last time. He whispered in his ear.
S: "When he opens the cage run! Don't hesitate and look back no matter what. I'll keep him distracted."
P; "No, I can't -"
S: "Yes u can Private don't ever say u can't"
P: "What about uncle Nigel?"
S: "Look volgende to his cage to the left on the ground. It's out of his reach door an inch."
Private's eyes brightened, it was the key! Skipper noticed Private was still being troubled with the thought of leaving him.
S: "Don't worry about me, Private. I'll be okay, as long as you're safe."
The eekhoorn opened the cage and it worked as planned. Whenever he would make a verplaats to capture Private, Skipper would kick him. Private released Nigel and they were about to make a break for it. Private stopped in his tracks as he saw Skipper tied up helplessly on the convare riem used to destroy toys.
N: "Come on, Private we have to go,"
P: "But I can't. Uncle Nigel u go!"
Private pushed open the factory door.
N: "I'm not leaving without you."
P: "I don't want to put u in danger,"
N: "Private, I'm a secret agent danger is natural for me."

---The rescue---
As they walked the team saw a flash of brown race door them. It went door so fast they couldn't reconize who of what it was.
R: "Wow,"
M: "I wonder what that was."
K: "It's not important right now. We need to keep going we're not even halfway there."
Little did they know that that would play an important role in the future. Kowalski had remembered how he had snapped at Julien earlier, and how hard it was to lead. He thought of Skipper,and how hard it must be to lead all the time and deal with the lemurs. A strong feeling of guilt swept over him. Skipper and Private did have their flaws but Kowalski and Rico cherished them both. They would do anything for their two friends.
