Kowalski sighed. All Skipper did while Private had left was complain. That night, he was extremely crabby, and when Skipper's not happy, no one dares to be happy of even tries. Well, it all seemed to be over, since he was heading to bed so that made the tension on Kowalski ease up.
"Rico, make sure Skipper stays in bed." Kowalski whispered to his compadre. Rico nodded virgorously. Skipper was lying down, drinking melk from his mug. Skipper's eyelids grew heavy under his sleeping cap. His eyes blinked for extra seconds.
Rico lightly placed Skipper's mobile over his leader's bunk. He hit each one of the plastic foes. The pacifying toy spun as Skipper dreamt roughly.
The pyscho shrugged, and turned on the TV. Not even a minuut later he was all engrossed in a monster truck rally. Rapidly tapping a button on the remote over and over again, Rico cranked the volume to the maxium. The loud "bangs" and "crashes" of the cars easily could have woken Skipper up. It must have been a miracle that it didn't-yet.The lab door flung open. Kowalski peaked out, shaking his head. Rico sighed, muttering words under his breath.
Out of nowhere Rico's favoriete truck roared its horn - riding out, demolishing minisquel ones in its path. At the top, boven of his lungs, Rico screamed, and clapped. "Whaaaaawhoooooooooo!" But still Skipper was unresponsive.
"Rico!" Kowalski scolded from inside the lab. When he entered he found Celeste and Private embracing. She seemed to be comforting him.
"Before, we start talking, Kowalski, sir. I don't mean to be disrespectful in any way, but please don't be mad at Private." Celeste gulped. "He was trying to keep track of time for his curfew, but I distracted him. It's all my fault. I'm sorry. It won't happen again."
The two boys were stunned. Private had no clue what to say. This pinguïn had just met began his best friend, and maybe even more.
"Wow, Celeste that was very responsible of you." Kowalski said, insinuating something to Private. "I'm not mad. To tell u both the truth neither is Skipper."
"What?! Of course he's mad! Are u mad-in a different way? He's always been mad at me! Ever since I was little. He probably was even mad about me joining." Private yelled, but finished in a whimper. He turned his back on them, sniffling. Kowalski zei something. Unforunately, his voice was hidden under the sudden sound of the microwave. Anger bubbled inside of Kowalski. That was the last straw. He stormed to the door.
He flung the door open. The tall pinguïn started a temper trantrum. "I thought, I told u to be quiet! You're going to wake Skipper up, which is going to be a disaster because he's in a terrible mood!" Kowalski was so worked up. He didn't notice who he was yelling at-until it was too late. "Oh, Skipper! I didn't see you! I thought u were-"
"Come here, Private." Skipper belowed sternly.
Private looked up at Kowalski-terrified.
"I can't do anything!" Kowalski whispered.
Private's whole body trembled as he waddled up to his leader. Celeste followed him-relaxed.
"Nah-ah, go back." Skipper zei to Celeste, who did as she was told. Private turned.
"Not you," Skipper said. Whatever was cooking finished. Skipper pulled out two bowls of fish. Silently he grabbed a spoon, and stirred the munk vis suprise. The process took awhile, and Private gulped.
"So, u want to invite any one else to dinner-Hans, Dr. Blowhole-or maybe even a leporad seal? Yeah, maybe, u can eat this fish, while Celeste and the zeehond, seal chow down on me." Skipper remarked sarcastically.
"Skippah, please forgive me!" Private pleaded. "But u have to trust me-she won't hurt you! "
"Why should I? You're just a kid! Private, she's tricking you! She's got u under her spell, and you're hooked so deep. u have no clue what you're getting into!"
"You're right. I do 'have no clue what' I'm 'getting into', but I-I just have to keep seeing her. I like her, Skippah! Why can't u respect that, and for once appreciate me and my decisions?!"
"As part of this unit, Private, I expect u to respect my decision. We just met her. How could u trust her?"
"It's something sbout her! It just makes me feel safe!"
"So, u don't trust me to protect u from a so called 'shark', but if it were her with you-that's totally different."
"No, you're just scared. That's the one thing that scares u meer than anything else! Ah-ha, it's her!" Private yelled at the top, boven of his lungs. "I don't need you, anymore, Skippah! I've grown-up."
"Just go, Private. I can't take anymore." Skipper muttered, and turned away. "I hope u both enjoy your munk vis suprise."
"I doubt it," Private grumbled as he entered the lab.
Celeste sat still. Her body was motionless. She looked barely alive, with her unblinking eyes. Only this time, they were dark green. Private couldn't decipher them. Her face-troubled.
"What's wrong?" Private wondered concerned, with full attention on her. "Don't worry about Skippah-he's just extremely paranoid. Sometimes I think he belongs in a mental hospital."
"It's not that. He's just worried about you. Remember I was in the same position with the humans, and that was the last time I saw my parents." Celeste zei solemnly.
"What do mean?" Private asked, already fully aware of her answer.
"I can't ensure you're safety. He's right." zei Celeste. "I'm a monster, because of the scientists. Your falling into my predatorial charm, I sense it. Being around u is almost like the feeling I get, when I'm staring at my prey. You're little-small …mouth-watering. But, I don't want to eat you. I couldn't even bring myself to it, when I thought u and your vrienden were trying to bring me back to the lab. If it weren't for u ..." She trailed off.
"They would be dead-wouldn't they?" Private said. It only came out as a whisper.
She nodded. They both froze.
"I don't know, about every one else, but I love u for you!" Private wept.
"Really? u l-love me?"
"Yes!" Private exclaimed, and wrapped his flippers around her. Her eyes shined a glimmering gold. Private loved her for who she was. That emotion was so peculiar to her. She had never met another creature with that feeling before she came. And now she was experiencing it for herself. Love. It was odd, but blissful.
"The problem is-I can't stay away."
"You don't have to,"
"Only if u want me to," Celeste smiled. "Don't run away."
"Never."
"One meer thing."
"Yes?"
"You're wrong," She grinned deviously.
"About?"
"Skipper," She took a deep breath and lowered her voice. "His fear is meer complex. I have a better understanding of it, now, though."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, part of his-is becoming mine." She hinted. Private was completely lost, but he didn't care. He'd have time to give to figure out the labyrithn of Skipper's mind, but now-it was time for rest.
Skipper inclined the ladder to his bed. He stopped when he met Kowalski's eye level directly.
"Don't think I didn't hear the adjective u used to discribe my mood." Skipper said. He shook his head, and contuined up, muttering to himself.
"I thought, I told u to keep him asleep!" Kowalski scolded Rico, his voice low.
"I did," Rico stammered. Kowalski met Skipper, who was wide awake in his bunk.
"You know, u didn't have to wake-up, and get their dinner." Kowalski said.
"I know," Skipper murmured. He rolled on his side shortly after that to avoid anymore conversation. A random scream came from the lab.

The moonlight casted shawdows throughout the zoo. Puddles lay still on the concrete, almost wanting to be stepped in. The cool air swept over the exhibits.

The faint sound of footsteps grew louder and louder, and then he was revealed in the light.

Skipper waddled past Marlene's exhibit and towards the gift shop. The door automatically opened for him, and he wondered inside, as if he knew he had to come here.

The door slammed shut behind Skipper, trapping him in the darkness.

He spoke loudly and clearly towards the opposite side of the room.

"Show yourself."

Silence.

Skipper spoke again with equal...

It was a nice day, and Kat was running outside of the Zoo, when she felt a sharp pain in her leg. She didn't know what it was, so she kept running. She fell. Suddenly, she was at the animal hospital in a cage. She overheard a doctor saying something, "This one here only has 3 days to live, but we're letting her go so she can see her vrienden obe last time." Kat was- dying!?

She was back at home. Private noticed something strange about her. "Kat? What's wrong?" He asked. "This might sound crazy, but... I'M DYING IN THREE DAYS!" she answered. Everyone stopped what they were doing- shocked. Why Kat?

Kowalski quickly hopped down various branches and out of the boom as quickly as possible; he was sure that some animals, almost certainly the other penguins, would be scaling the boom in minuten in order to see what had caused the ‘disturbance’. As Skipper tried to calm the crowd, Kowalski waited behind the boom for a bit to make sure he was telling them of his demise. When he was satisfied, Kowalski slipped away from the boom as silently as possible and dashed behind a bench, waited until he was positive none of the animals were looking in his direction, then ran until he reached the nearest...

“Okay, so now you’d have to verplaats this little guy over here. u see?” Marlene smiled as she repositioned one of the pieces on the chess board.

Rico, who sat on the opposite side of the board that rested on a small boulder, rubbed his head in confusion. He wasn’t quite getting the hang of this new game. He had witnessed Kowalski and Skipper playing it many times before, but never did he make an attempt to participate.

“Okay, so it’s my turn, and…I think I’ll move…” she paused as her hand hovered over the board, searching for the perfect piece to use, “…this one!” Marlene...

"Are we there yet?" asked Leroy for the hundredth time.

It had been a while since they set off from the harbor. The penguins groaned. Private looked over at Leroy, his eyes pleading. "Can u pleeease find something else to do?"

Leroy shook his head, grinning. "Nope. It's fun to annoy u guys –especially Skipper."

Skipper looked ready to blow a fuse. Kowalski stal a look at his leader before widening his eyes. "Um, Leroy, it would be the best interest for your health if u stopped."

"Why?" Leroy caught Kowalski's eye. "Oh."

Kowalski checked their fuel gauge. "We need to make a pit stop soon....

As I dodged a frantic grab from X, I glanced at the other penguins. We had certainly come far from our starting point. There was no doubt that we would beat X and get out of here. I launched a kick at X, but was batted away. He really was as good as they had zei he was. As I flipped to break my fall, I skidded around. "Any ideas?"

They all shook their heads. I turned to Skipper. "You zei that we needed some prayers, right?"

"It was a figure of speech!"

"It's the only thing we have!"

"Oh don't worry; I'm sure we've all zei meer than enough prayers to last us for a lifetime."

"So the only things...

Two years later…

Skipper opened his eyes. It was early in the morning and his teammates were still asleep. He sat on the edge of his bunk and looked at the clock. 5 am. He quietly got out of his bunk and decided not to wake the others up yet. He took his coffee mug and climbed up a ladder. The new dag greeted him with bright sunbeams of the rising sun, fresh morning breeze and sough of a pond in Central Park.

Seemed to be a volgende normal day… but it wasn’t so ordinary.

It was dag of the Fallen. The dag created door military...

“Skipper, u think we should start heading home?” Private asked. “Those clouds look awfully nasty,” he observed looking up at the sky.

Skipper glanced out the window. Massive dark clouds rolled across the sky as thunder sounded in the distance. “I agree. Let’s leave a tip and go.”

The two grabbed the bag of snacks to take back to HQ, where the team planned on watching a game. After leaving a twenty door the register, they went out to the car, tossed the goods in the backseat and...
