"Today's the day...When Kiki went to heaven." He sighed again. "Kiki..." The small bird lifted himself from his bed, "I can nevah sleep when I think about his death.." He looked towards his door but shook his head, "I don't want to get Blue upset.." Private sighed then went to pick up a doll that was sitting on his bed. It was a shape of a pinguïn and had realistic yellow feathers and bright blue eyes. "I remembah this...Big brothah gave it to me."
Flashback
Blue smiled brightly, holding out a pinguïn doll towards Private. "I got u a present baby brother!"
Everyone always zei Private didn't need a doll since he was a boy, but the two didn't care about that.
"Yay! A doll!" He grabbed it and cuddled it close to his body. He smiled hugely at his big brother, "Thank you!" Private held it up to look at it, "Its so pretty!"
'It almost looks real!'
Private frowned then turned towards a picture on his bookshelf. It showed a male pinguïn with black and white feathers with bright green eyes. He was smiling slightly.
Private winced silently, "Kiki.."
To this day, he still didn't understand how he died. Blue zei it was because of an illness. Suddenly, Private felt a cold, death like chill take over the room. He whimpered, he didn't like this feeling. He raced to his bed and jumped under the covers, then peeked out as if expecting to see something frightening. He shut his eyes and went back under the blanket.
Flashback
Private hummed softly, looking into the horizon. He and Blue were sitting in a field of flowers. The other was using a mes on some flowers.
"You're actually getting better at the humming." Blue commentaar gegeven causing them both to smile.
"Blue, you're not even facing the right way." Private pouted.
"One second...Just tie this here.." Blue smiled, holding up the joined flowers with magic. "Done!" Then placed it on Private's head, surprised, the younger touched it gently.
"A flowah crown?" He pouted, "I'm not a girl."
Blue chuckled at him, "I know, but u are adorable."
Private smiled brightly and wrapped his flippers around him,"Thank u big brothah!"
Blue smiled sadly, "I'm sorry I can't always hang out here with u often."
"Its okay! I'm glad I could play with u today Big Brothah!" Private smiled cutely.
Their time was interrupted as Kiki waddled over. "Were u guys playing over here?" Judging door his voice, Kiki was trying to get on Blue's nerves, but failed as usual.
Private jumped up and ran over to the green eyed penguin, "Kiki! Look! Blue made me a flowah crown!"
Kiki looked at him with a snickering smile, "Looks..Great bro." He then flashed a normal smile. "So u guys were out here all day?"
"Yep!" Private turned towards Blue, "We should do this again!"
Blue nodded, "We should. And maybe Kiki can tag along instead of stuffing his beak in a science tube."
The pinguïn gave his brother a playful glare, "I look vooruit, voorwaarts to it." Then Kiki let out a huge sneeze.
"Kiki!" Private squeaked out in worry.
"I-I'm okay. Just some pollen from the flowers." Kiki coughed a bit.
"Don't push yourself. u should get some pills from Ami if things get worse." Blue zei with a firm look on his face, but Private just liked to call it, 'Blue's doctor face'.
Kiki glared, "No..I can deal with it."
"Kiki? Are u alright?" Private asked, tilting his head to the side looking worried.
"Its okay, I'm fine."
Private frowned, unconvinced.
"Don't frown Private, we'll all fall if u frown."
Private then smiled brightly, "Okay!"
"Now we should go get dinner." Kiki smiled excitedly.
Blue groaned, "But I ALWAYS cook."
Kiki smirked, "Exactly! We're the little brothers so we're ABSOLUTELY helpless!" He laughed while Private giggled as Blue groaned again.
They were so happy then. Ami was still there, but they still were happy. But then, Kiki died to a sickness. And the happiness was thrown away like trash.
