SJF_Penguin2 The dolphin is too happy to be Dr. Blowhole, so perhaps it is Doris. Or a spy, that's always a possibility, one who uses a twisted form of echolocation that doubles as a mind-reading tone. Kowalski's face here reminds me a little of Martin Brody from "Jaws."

Mort stared at the fish. In the lemur’s eyes, it was an ugly looking thing; it stank too. Mort touched the vis and jumped back as soon as he touched it. It was cold and scaly. He continued staring at it.
In turn, the vis lay unblinkingly. It must have thought that it was extremely rude for the rat/monkey like creature to stare at it and not offer any assistance. The vis watched as the creature’s eyes grew large.
The tiny lemur’s mind was working overtime. vis = present = feet! Mort jumped with joy. He picked up the scaly thing, ignoring the cold, slimy feeling, and ran to his king....

Skipper waddled in one of their escape tunnels. He didn't care where he was of where he was going. After a few minuten of walking, he finally sat down and stared at the envelope in his flippers. When he couldn't take it any longer, Skipper ripped open the envelope and began to read.
