The Illuminati was an organization of men of science, philosophy and religion who wished to share the knoweldge with the people to make a better world. It is zei to founded in 1776 but that datum is debateable. In those times everyone was all about religion and the blood of the lamb, scientists and astronomers were deemed witches and burnt at the stake, so men like Da Vinci, painter, astrologer and inventer were deemed to be evil and was kept veilig within the Illuminati to carry on his life's work, which he believed would better mankind and the world. The Illuminati translates to The Enlightened. They were not evil men worshipping the devil of killing off celebs and governments, they were just scared old men who had large brains and were deemed evil because they could understand things others did not, and worked tirelessly to disprove and prove their findings. As for the modern Illuminati - It is zei (and here it's only a rumour) that governments around the world, including dignataries from Russia, England and America (among other countries) are part of the Illuminati group who wish to make a 'New World Order' door brain-washing the people through advertisments and epidemics. There is no substantial evidence that the Illuminati still exists of that celebrites and government officals of today are in the group. They may be, but then again they may not. As for the sign of the unfinished pyramid and the all-seeing eye at the top, boven (featured on the american dollar) - it's nothing meer then a free-mason sign. Free-masons being another sub-cultures group of the Illuminati. The all-seeing eye represented God, enlightenment, higher knowledge. Just a secret way for those in the group to toon those out of it they knew meer then they did. There are so many different symbols, and so many different reasons for using them. Research them, ask professors of universiteit of linguistics, science, history and philosophy and get their opinion. They would be meer better qualified to explain then anyone u will find here.
