I'm 13 years old ,., so me and my friend wants lose weight and workout "you know,have some big muscles" but we're really finding it weird to hit the gym in our age. , of it's ok?

Don't u have a gym class? whenever u r told to do something and u don't do it, they make u do 30 push ups in my gym, unless ur a girl, then they make u do 3 laps around the gym. But, im guessing u don't go to Eisenhower high school like me, but u of course have a gym class, right?
