Why do just female animated characters have eyelashes when males have longer eyelashes in true life?

I would say that it is because females generally try to make their eyelashes appear bolder and darker with mascara. So some men may have longer lashes, but females bring attention to them making them darker and meer visible, and animatie reflects this :P

Long lashes are a way of tonen who is female. Colored parts of the body like nails and lips can also play a factor as indication they are wearing makeup which a lot of female characters do. Hairstyle also plays an importance because a girl is gonna have a girl’s hairstyle in most cases. Clothing in most cases represents the character for example a dress. Shoes of high heels can also tell a character’s gender. If that didn’t already give u the answer than most female characters are voiced door females so voice plays a big factor so yeah those are all the possible ways a character can be identified
