Which language should I take in high school?

If u think German is the most fun, then I would take that. u should ask yourself "Which would I be happiest taking?". Sure, u took Spanish when u oh we're younger, but all classes are different, although it could be the most useful. For French, maybe your sister liked it, and maybe you'll like it too, but u shouldn't base your decisions on what other people like. The choice is up to you, but based on your reasons I think u should take German.

IDK. I wanted to learn how to speak Sranantongo (Suriname Creole), Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Spanish, Afrikaans, Dutch, Finnish, Estonian, French, Germany, Basque, Portuguese, Latvian, Lithuanian, Kazakh, and a few more. Follow your heart. It's YOUR decision on what language u wanna learn. :)

I've done all three of those languages in various parts of my secondary schooling, lol.

From my experience, Spanish is the most fun. I love French for its beauty, but it can get frustrating at times. Spanish doesn't have that same frustration- it's meer phonetic, meer regular, less difficult. IMO it also sounds very nice, and rolls off the tongue beautifully . u can get to a higher, meer functional level of Spanish in a shorter period of time than the other two languages. It also has such a rich culture behind it, which most courses will explore to some extent. We learnt the language itself AND interest subjects like muziek of Spain, the myriad of festivals in Latin America, the ancient civilisations of the Aztecs/Mayans/Incas and their legacies like Machu Picchu. Which is something else I love about Spanish- French is spoken in France (and a few small African countries), German is spoken in Germany, while Spanish is spoken in over 20 countries all around the world and has the seconde highest number of speakers after Mandarin (higher even than English). It's beautiful, uncomplicated and functional.

TLDR: I liked Spanish the most, followed door French, and then door German.

I suggest German because that's also one i plan on taking to get extra credit, and I am going to throw ASL in the suggestion box because American Sign Language it's simple to learn and it's always useful.

Take German! It's real fun (But also difficult)

Don't take any language classes that u don't think will help u in the future.

I am fluent in French and Spanish. French is meer complicated than English and Spanish.

I think Spanish would probably be the easiest to learn but if you're ready to put in a lot of hard work, it doesn't matter what u choose.
