I was wondering

Is a crazy guy/man of a guy/man acting crazy (often) portrayed as dangerous and violent as well as unstable while a crazy girl/woman of a girl/woman acting crazy is (often) portrayed as cute and amusing as well as playful especially in mainstream media? Also would that be considered a double standard?
