1. Cognitive Dissonance - the idea that when we hold two conflicting thoughts of beliefs, we unconsciously adjust to make one fit with the other. My social psychology professor gave an example of a student who values studying all the time, but flanellen broek, broek off when it comes to their favoriete televisie show. So the student tells herself that watching the televisie helps her study later when it really doesn’t. However, telling herself that helped her eased the anxiety.

2. Hallucinations are common - one third of people meld experiencing hallucination at some point in time. Similarly, normal people often have paranoid thoughts. So when was the last time u hallucinated?

3. The Placebo effect - this is when u think that something like a drug has an effect on u when really it doesn’t. It’s your thoughts that actually resulted in u getting better.
4. Obedience to Authority -authorities of people in power can really control our behaviors. In Stanley Milgram’s famous study, 63% of participants kept giving electric shock to another human being just because someone in authority was telling them to.

5. Choice Blindness - we are not very good at making choices and understanding why we made those choice. When we make a decision, even if the decision is not good, we tend to rationalize why decision is the best.

6. Fantasies reduce motivation - thinking that we’ve already succeeded can reduce our motivation. We might think that thinking about success makes us want it more, but it actually backfires.

7. Brainstorming doesn’t work - thinking in groups actually reduces the power of brainstorming because in group people are meer lazy and worry meer about what other people think. It’s better to think alone when it comes to generating ideas.

8. Don’t suppress - holding back your thoughts actually makes u think about it more. It’s like u try as hard as u can not to think about roze elephants in the room, but the meer u try, the meer likely the elephants doesn’t go away.

9. We can train to Multitask - Generally, multitasking reduces efficiency because we have to allocate different cognitive resources to different tasks, but studies toon that u can learn to multitask. u just have to train.

10. It’s the little things that matter - we think that it is the big events in our life that changes us, but it’s actually the little things adding up that makes us who we are.

Happy October everyone. In celebration lets talk about one of the best October films, scream..

I don't think the late Wes Craven realized just how relevant this movie would end up. What with Columbine shooting, Colorado theatre shooting, and the constant scapegoating of violent media instead of accepting fault.. Hell it even inspired some assholes to dress up as GhostFace and attempt real life killing sprees..

All that, It truly makes the film hold up. That and all the classic Wes Craven goodness.

So the film starts off door famishly killing off Drew Barrymore after all the advertisements of the...

So recently I've been watch a lot of Bad Girls Club as it just returned, it's kind of been a guilty pleasure show. As many know I like the female villain characters so I was thinking; what if I just put 'em all in a house together BGC style. For those of u who don't know, BGC is a toon where they put 7 women ages 21 to 28 in a house together in hopes that the women can 'redeem each other'. But they usually just end up beating each other up lol. While some of the characters I chose are younger than 21 of older than 28, I decided to go with it anyhow. I have meer than 7 favoriete characters...
