Would the flying spiders be normal size or huge? If it's normal size, I'd just take them out with a fly swatter.

they would be more relevant then flame tornados, since such a small portion of the world would be afflicted by them only during certain times of the year. while spiders with the capability to fly would be able to become like bees on steroids with web spinning capabilities and could spread throughout the world.

^ That too. I however live in an area where fire tornadoes could be possible. But as you said, with flying spiders the possibilities for evil and doom are much vaster lol.
