Selena Gomez is apparently meer than pleased she has moved on from her break-up with Nick Jonas. The 18-year-old songstress admitted her true feeling towards the spleet, split when the subject of her past romance with the one-third of the Jonas Brothers came up during her interview with The Morning Call.
Talking about Nick, the Alex Russo of Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place" first declared, "I love him." She went on to lay bare her thought over their break-up. "I'm very, very glad that all of that's in the past and that I can verplaats forward," she said. While the spleet, split was amicable, she admitted it was still "very difficult". Nonetheless, she stressed, "I love him, he's great."
On future romance, the ster of "Ramona and Beezus" insisted she is "not looking". She elaborated her remark, "I'm very happily single and enjoying being 18 and just think boys are kind of not an option at the moment, 'cause I'm kind of really busy. But that's OK. I think boys give me a little bit of a headache."
During the interview, Selena also talked about her sophomore effort "A jaar Without Rain" which will comes out in stores across the U.S. on September 28. "Everything is a little bit meer mature," she spilled. "But I think not in any other way [than] the lyrics are just stronger, the muziek is better, it's bigger."
"And I think that it's tonen the type of growth, but meer in a youthful way," the Disney ster continued on with her explanation about the feeling of her upcoming new album. "And I think that the album artwork is a lot different. It's older, and it's in a way of like fantasy and it goes along with everything I've been doing."
Selena additionally enthused about "Rock God", the song penned door Katy Perry for her new effort. "It is so much fun," she said. "It's very soulful and it's kind of got her flair mixed in with my dance kind-of-a-little techno vibe. So it was really amazing and I really loved it. I was extremely honored, 'cause I'm a huge fan of hers."
