On Sunday (August 28), BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez caught up at the Video muziek Awards Pre-Show, where Gomez acted as a special black-carpet correspondent.

"I can tell u two are best friends. We're not going to get any work done," joked MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway.

There was a bit of work done, though. Lovato talked up her forthcoming album, Unbroken, due in stores September 20.

"It's definitely not pop/rock how I used to do. It's definitely meer radio-friendly. It's meer R&B, it's meer pop, and I think u guys are going to like it," Lovato said. "I got a lot of collaborations...

Selena could be currently focused on her singing career but she still prefers doing movies. The A jaar Without Rain singer said, "I just don't really trust myself. One day, I wake up and I'm so obsessed with my muziek and then the volgende dag I wake up and I'm just so into my films," "But I think in the future once I get older and I want everything to slow down, I think I'm going to want to be in film," she added. Meanwhile, Selena is getting ready for her first tour. I will be prepping to do my first actual tour, which will be exciting because I've done a lot of concerts."But I've never done an actual tour...I will hopefully be a part of some meer films, but I'm not quite sure of that yet." Selena can be volgende seen on the big screen in 2011on the movie Monte Carlo.
