The Who Says hitmaker wore a bindi, a forehead decoration traditionally used door women in South Asia for religious purposes, and danced seductively like a Bollywood ster while singing her new tune Come & Get It - but some viewers were less than thrilled door her sultry act and took to Twitter.com to voice their outrage, prompting the term Cultural Appropriation to become a trending topic on the social networking site.

In a post, one fan wrote, "The bindi is not just some fashion accessory u can throw on," while another added, "Selena Gomez, take that bindi of (sic) your head, cultural appropriation is not cute."

A third follower tweeted, "CULTURAL APPROPRIATION AT IT'S FINEST, MY RESPECT FOR SELENA IS FADING AS WE SPEAK," while a fourth viewer wrote, "leave Bindis for Indian women."

The 20 jaar old has yet to respond to the criticism.

Finally after week of 2 of teasers from Selena Gomez’s newest video, “Hit the Lights”, it was released.
