“Hey.” u smile, turning your head to kiss him.
“Miss me?” Ponyboy asks.
“Of course. I haven’t seen u in awhile.”
“I know. I just don’t want your mom and dad to get suspicious, u going to the wrong side of the tracks and all.” He mutters, just holding you.
“I know.” u mutter. “I wish it didn’t have to be this way.”
“Don’t u think I do too?” He says, holding u a bit tighter.
“I know u do.” u whisper.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you. I regret everything that happened when I first walked out. I thought it’d be better for both of us. But I was wrong.” He mumbled into your shoulder.
“I can’t wait till I’m 18. They won’t be able to tell me what to do. And I can have you.”
“And you’ll be mine.” He smiles.
“Love me forever?”

“Yeah?” He asks, absentmindedly playing with your hair.
“Would u ever leave me?” u whisper.
He sorta turns your body to face him. u see the emotions in his eyes.
“I would never, ever leave you, until the dag I die. Even if u ended up with someone else, I’d still always be here. I’d catch u when u fall. Not only catch you, but put u back up where u started and help u along the way. I would never leave you, even in a burning building. I love you.”
