And she was right. I didn’t know what it was like, because I wasn’t Alice. But in a way I did know what it was like, because when HE had left; I had to lose Alice just like she had lost me. But vampires could forget if they wanted to. Alice could have forgotten me, meer easily than I could have forgotten her if she wanted to.
