We were all piled up in the car. Jack and Vince in the front while Sean and I were in the back. I think they did it on purpose. Sean and I had been fighting, on the verge of breaking up, type fighting. Jack and Vince didn’t want that to happen, apparently we were made for each other.
Sean and I hadn’t zei a word to each other since we were forced into the car. I had no clue were we were going, and I wasn’t about to ask Sean. Jack and Vince made a rule that I wasn’t allowed to talk to them either. I guess I could be a little annoying.
I watched as Jack shifted in the driver’s seat, and put his hand in Vince’s waiting one. Their fingers were intertwined. I felt a pang of jealousy, that had been one of the things I had enjoyed doing with Sean the most. He was ridiculously romantic, and I adored that about him. I sighed and leaned back against the seat. I needed to stop adoring him, we were probably going to break up.
Even thinking that made my hart-, hart crack, and my stomach drop. I loved Sean, I don’t even remember why we were fighting…Okay, I lied, I remember perfectly why we were fighting. It wasn’t my fault either.
We had went out clubbing with Jack and Vince. I went out to go to the bathroom for a minute. I got back only to find Sean grinding against some drag queen. I had smacked the drag queen across the face, screamed at Sean, and ran out of the club. Jack had came to calm me down, and Vince went off to get Sean. They had already tried to make us talk once…Let’s just say it ended with tears and unbuttoned jeans.
This was only their seconde attempt to get us back on speaking terms with one another. I really wanted to make up with Sean, but I wasn’t about to apologize. I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye. I couldn’t see his face, his dark brown hair was like a curtain. I was glad I couldn’t see though, if I would’ve saw his big, brown eyes looking at me I would’ve lost it. There would be sex stains in the back seat, and I’m pretty sure Jack would be mad about that.
The car pulled to a stop just as it was beginning to rain. I looked out the window. Green gras laid out in front of us. We were at the park, the place Sean and I first told each other ‘I love you‘. I glanced at Sean while I thought this. He kept his head down, his hair-curtain still masking his beautiful face.
“Are we getting out?” I asked. I knew I couldn’t talk to them, but I wanted to know.
“What do u think?” Jack retorted. Then winced when Vince elbowed him. “Sorry,” I heard him mutter.
“Whatever,” Vince grumbled getting out of the car. I followed Vince. Jack and Sean got out of the car too. We all walked down to the to swings, I could feel little rain drops on my skin.
After we walked down a little ways I looked over at Jack and Vince. They appeared deep in conversation.
“So, what are we doing here?” I asked disobeying their rule again.
“You’ll find out soon,” Vince smirked, grabbed Jack door the wrist, and ran to the car, leaving Sean and I staring after them. They got in the car, and drove away.
    “Awww,” I whined, now what?
“Stop whining,” Sean said. I looked back at him, he was glaring at me.
“Make me,” I snapped returning his glare.
“I may if u don’t watch it,” Sean turned away from me facing the trees. I felt a surge of emotion run through me and I walked over to him. I grabbed him door the shoulder and spun him around to face me.
“Can’t u just apologize?” I shouted. He looked at me stunned.
“Why should I be sorry? You’re the one who blew this out of proportion!” Sean’s brown eyes poured into my blue ones.
“If I wouldn’t have caught u all up on that queen we both know where u would’ve ended up! So, don’t u tell me I’m blowing this out of proportion!” I ignored the black hair that fell into my eyes while I yelled at him.
“Austin, I was drunk! Don’t tell me u haven’t done things like that when you’ve been,” Sean moved the hair from my eyes. It always annoyed him when I left hair in my face.
“I have, but not when I had a boyfriend!” Oops, I just lied.
“That’s bullshit! u did that to me when u were dating…whatever his name was! And I’m pretty sure u were sober!” I bit my lip. I had been perfectly sober, but my ex was also abusive.
“That was justified,” I zei looking down. Sean knew all about my ex. He pulled my face up so I was looking him in the eye.
“Not really,” he whispered. His hand moved up to cup my cheek. His thumb traced the scar below my eye. Sean leaned vooruit, voorwaarts and kissed me lightly, like I was still wounded.
“You can be rougher u know,” I zei when he pulled back. Sean only shook his head.
“If u only knew how fragile u actually are,” he scanned my face, taking precious time to look at each scar I had. He kissed me again.
“I’m not that breakable,” I murmured.
“Yes, u are, but that’s why I love you. You’re so damaged that it makes u perfect,” Sean stared into my eyes, now looking around my scars.
“If I’m so breakable and perfect, why did u do that with that drag queen?” I asked.
“I was drunk…” I gave him a incredulous look. Even I knew Sean wouldn’t do that. He sighed. “He sort of…made me,” Sean looked away and bit his lip. He was always trying to appear strong for me. I didn’t want him to, I liked seeing his vulnerable side.
I caressed his cheek. “It’s okay, I won’t let him again,” I kissed him.
“How do u plan on that?” Sean asked pulling away.
“The same way u plan on protecting me, a backup plan,” I gave him a weak smile.
“I love you,” Sean whispered moving closer to my face. With that simple phrase everything melted away. Our vorige fights, the rain, being abandoned door Jack and Vince, everything. Sean and I were the only living things on this earth.
“I love u too,” I felt tears sting the backs of my eyes. This wasn’t the treatment I was used to, but in a way that’s why I loved Sean, he was so different. Sean kissed me tenderly, and pulled back. He eyed me carefully before getting on one knee.
“Austin, will u marry me?” Sean held out a beautiful diamond ring. The tears that stung the backs of my eyes started to spill now. I nodded shakily.
“Yes Sean, I would love to.” After placing the ring on my finger he stood up and pulled me into his arms. His lips crashed against mine, and I knew this was my forever.
