There he is just standing there, starring at u with puppy dog eyes. He smiles briefly at u breaking your heart. It’s all too much so u so u slam the door. Before the door shuts he sticks his foot in the door way stopping it.
“I just want to talk.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.” u lie. u don’t want to hear him apologize of even see him. What he did hurt u like nothing else could, still u knew that u loved him and u hart-, hart ached for him. u wish u could turn back time to when u both were happy but u know that what’s done is done.
“How about us…” He tries to say but u cut him off.
“There is no us” u state yet u can not look at him while u say it. His blue eye look at u sadly, clearly hurt door your statement.
“That’s not true, if it were true u would be able to look me in the eyes and say that it.” His voice cracks at the end. u try and tell him that u don’t love him, that there is not us.
“I can’t.” Looking into his deep blue eyes u know he will eventually break your hart-, hart but u kiss him away. u let u lips meet in a blast of love and passion. u wish u could stop time and stay in his embrace forever. In his embrace u feel veilig like nothing will ever hurt you.
“I love you.” He whispers in your ear, meaning dripping off every word, making u smile. All u fears disappear with those three words.

u both stand there not wanting to verplaats from your current position, savoring each others warmth. u knew it would be hard but eventually if u both tried, maybe u could restore what was broken. Maybe this would make u stronger. u had hope that it would be alright in the end. That time would heal the wounds.
“I love u too.”
Maybe just maybe it’ll be okay.
