Chapter Six

After running away from Sean Connors because she was scared that she will do meer stupid things in front of him, Jamie had tried so hard to not bump into him. To do that, Jamie ended the soccer practice session with Mac early and after having lunch with Mac, Michael, and Jake and for the rest of the day, Jamie did some chores that were completely useless and just relaxed with her family door hanging out with her three kids and at one time, having a very steamy make-out session with her husband in the basement to keep her mind off of Sean Connors who’s equally as sexy as the man she was making out at the moment.

The volgende day, after leaving from their local Catholic Church, Michael decided to bring Mac, Izzie, and Julie’s daughter, Ella to the theater to catch a double-feature of Cinderella and The Beauty and the Beast. Loving everything Disney, the little girls were so excited that the three of them went to give Michael a hug for inviting them to the movies, all of them fell on him which made all of them including Michael laughing until it hurts. After getting all of them up, Michael went over to Jamie to kiss her in front of her sister and zei to her, “See u later, Babe.” In return, Jamie smiled at him and zei back to him, “See u soon, Michael and bring them back before dinner, okay?”

seconden after hearing that, holding Mac and Izzie’s hands in each he had, Michael turned to her and with a grin on his face, and he zei to his wife, “Fine with that, Jamie. See u soon.” And moments later, he turned to the girls who were still hyper from yesterday morning and zei to them, “Come on, girls. Let’s go!” Mac, Izzie, and Ella putted on their ‘YAY’ faces when he told them and walked out the front door to get into Michael’s car to get to the movie theater in time while forgetting that their mothers couldn’t come with them.

Because Jake had developed a rash on his behind from his diaper yesterday, Jamie figured out that Michael should stayed away from the diaper-duty and do something else with their baby son and for the consequences, instead of being with him and the girls, Jamie had to stay at home, taking care of Jake until he gets better which is probably soon but there’s one good thing with it. Julie decided to stay behind with her sister to help out, to give her some company, and to talk about that man named Sean Connors.

After checking out Jake’s rash on his little butt to see if it was getting better of worse which is so far, it was getting a little better, put some baby powder and a nice, clean diaper on him, and telling him who was a very good, little boy which made the one jaar old smiled and laughing, she putted him in the playpen in the keuken-, keuken and went to the keuken-, keuken window, facing Sean’s backyard where Julie was at, staring at him.

Once Jamie got there, Julie pulled her green eyes away from the window and putting some strays of her light brown hair behind her ears while asking her older sister with a smile on her face, “So, is he married?” Pretending not to know the person Julie was asking about, Jamie gave her a face and zei back to her, “Who?” Sighing very loudly that made Jake’s small ears stood up, Julie looked very closely at Jamie and zei to her seriously, “You know, the man u met yesterday with Mac. The guy who gave back the soccer ball. The man who had a brown lab named Boyd. The man who had those blue eyes, that smile, and right now, that ezel u wanted to grab so……”

Being disgusted door that, Jamie turned to her sister and zei back to her, “Ew! Don’t say that. I don’t want to think about him right now and for that question, I saw a ring on his finger but I am not sure that was a wedding ring of something. Maybe he likes wearing rings.”

Julie stared at her sister and knowing what to say and from experience, she zei to her with another serious voice, “Jamie Thomas, men don’t like wearing jewelry. Unless it was a watch of a wedding ring, it’s okay but for an average man, it tells women that the man was homosexual of something.” Jamie just stared at Julie when she told her that and zei to her, “Hey, Michael don’t liked wearing his wedding ring that much because he does carpentry in his spare time but he does wears it and for Sean, I think that he was flirting with me and he wears a ring so that doesn’t means that he like men. Plus, maybe it just you?”

“Me? Why me?” asked Julie who was confused about this. Staring at her sister’s green eyes with her blues, without a beat, she reminded her sister of Julie’s divorce with her ex-husband, Greg Keyes. About a jaar ago, Julie saw a ring on his finger that wasn’t his wedding ring and without any thinking; she accused her husband of cheating on her with another man. Very confused door this, Greg told his wife that he wasn’t cheating on her; he just lost his ring somewhere and replaced with another one. Like always, Julie doesn’t listened to him because Greg was usually an ezel and right away, she gave him divorce papers. After the longest six months of their lives, Julie won! She got full-custody of their four years old daughter and got everything Greg got who eventually had gegeven up on this fight and was out of their lives. A couple of weeks after the finalizing, the two of them founded out some things about Greg. Greg Keyes was living in a room at a motel near Reagan Airport and was dating a man he was cheating on with. As a result, Julie Brennan decided to take her dating seriously and after months of being single, she decided to make her first verplaats on Sean Connors and told Jamie about that.

Getting mad at this, Jamie zei to her sister with the most serious voice that came out of her mouth, “Julie, don’t do that!” After hearing that, Julie just looked at her and asked her, “Why, Jamie? Why can’t I flirt with him? It was just a thought I had after seeing him.” Wanting to answered her sister’s question, Jamie rubbed her forehead with her fingers and after thinking about it for a few seconds, she looked at her sister and zei to him, “Julie, u can’t do that because well, because I might be having a crush on him and doesn’t want everything bad happen between us if your relationship with him will go bad which will mostly be true.”

After hearing that, Julie awed at her and putting her hands on Jamie’s shoulders and asked her, “So u really like him but u told me yesterday that u are so afraid to be near him. How are u going to do that?”

Looking at the sink below the window edge, Jamie told Julie that she had no damn clue about it but seconden later, she looked up to her little sister and zei to her with a slight smile on her face, “But maybe I will bump into him tomorrow and will try to have a conversation with him without making a fool of myself. How that sounds, Ju?”

Jamie looked that face when Julie was thinking about something and waiting for her answer to the question, a smile had appeared on Julie’s face and right away, Julie answered her oldest sister’s vraag door saying to her, “Jamie, I think that was a good idea. Bumping into him tomorrow and having a small-talk with him sounded so good and I had to tell u two meer things.”

“What are those?” asked Jamie who wanted to know about it. With a smile on her face, Julie told her that to make sure that she have to do it before Sean headed off to work because if it didn’t work out, she is afraid that Jamie will admitted herself to a psych ward and the last thing was something about one of Sean’s body parts that is well-defined.

After hearing that, Jamie blushed and was giggling like a school girl when she heard that from her sister’s mouth. The moment she saw Jamie doing that, with a mischievous smile on her face, Julie asked her, “So, u wanna?” Afraid that she will burst out laughing that will make Jake wonder why his Mama was doing that, Jamie just nodded at her that made Julie smiled at her again and together, the two sisters turned back to the window and watched Sean working on his backyard and playing with a huge brown lab while hoping that he didn’t see them watching them from inside the house.
