“I don’t know, Artemis. It’s just not my style…” I started away
“I didn’t want to half to do this, but u leave me no choice” she took a deep breath “If u don’t stay, I will tell Wally the real reason u left is because u are hopelessly in love with him and u couldn’t bare the thought of seeing him get hurt on a mission” I stopped dead in my tracks.
“You wouldn’t” I said, turning back to her.
“I would” she nodded
“You’re bluffing” I smirked
“Oh really?” she asked with a smirk “Wally!” she yelled loudly. He came running.
“What?!” he demanded
“Vixen here told me the real reason she’s leaving and wants me to tell u before she leaves” Artemis smirked. My face paled to dangerous levels.
“And what would that be?” he asked, intrigued
“Well, She’s-“ I lunged at her and covered her mouth with my hand.
‘Fine! I’ll stay! Just do NOT say anything about the “real reason” I was going to leave. Ever’ I zei mentally. She nodded.
“Never mind” Artemis said, but it came out meer like “Mever snide” Wally raised an eyebrow.
“No, now I want to know!” he complained
“The real reason I’m leaving is that I forgot someone I loved” I said, quickly realizing that it was the truth.
“Who?” he asked
“And will u be back?” Artemis added, a gleam in her grey eyes.
“None of your business, and yeah. I haven’t forgotten out deal” I sighed
“What deal?” Wally asked
“Oh, nothing” Artemis zei slyly
“We’re not supposed to keep secrets from one another” Wally pointed out
“Wally, some things are better left secrets” I zei quietly
“Like what?” he asked
“Who I’m going to get, our deal, my identity” I listed
Wally sighed. “Fine” he grumbled. The two walked away. I thought about where I was going for a second.
“Wait! I may, possibly, need your assistance” I called. They both stopped. Wally looked at me like I had grown a tail. I quickly checked to see that I hadn’t.
“Where exactly are u going to get this person?” he asked, coming closer.
“Infinity Island. And, it’s not exactly someone. It’s meer like something. Or, a few something’s about a few someone’s” I explained quietly
“I’ll get the team-“
“No! The meer people we have, the harder it will be to get in” I zei quickly

His head pounded and his eyes were sore. He tried opening them but found he couldn't. But he could still feel the fabric of his mask on his eyes. He sighed inwardly.
