Chapter 4-

Alexa grimaced as she limped out of the training room. She had made it to Wave 3. The Martian and the archer had gotten the best of her.

"Hey kid!" Joker said, handing Alexa a towel. "That was pretty good for pure raw talent!"

"Really?" Alexa asked.

"Sure!" Joker said, a grin on his face. "Wanna go puta jack-in-the-box under poison ivy's bed?"

"Attempt to do any such thing and I assure u u will be pulling thorns out of your hide for the volgende month!" a female voice said. Joker groaned and turned to Poison Ivy.

"Spoil sport." he said, and departed.

Poison Ivy put her hand on Alexa's shoulder. "Quite a workout." she said. "And u never quit."

"I don't quit." Alexa said.

"Good attitude!" Poison Ivy said. "What do u say after u hit the showers, we abduct some rich guy and steal all his money?"

"Sounds great!" Alexa said, hovering a few inches off the ground. "I'll go shower!"

Alexa began to float off, but stopped. "Who are we after?"

"The richest kid in Gotham." Poison Ivy said. "Dick Grayson."

Aqualad thought it would be better if the Team spleet, split in half for the flight over. So Holly, Revenge, Artemis and Wally were on one plane while Robin, Megan, Connor, and Kaldur were on the other.

The two teenagers packed their bags and checked out of the hotel before heading out into the damp, gloomy morning.

Artemis could tell Wally was determined, he hadn't eaten yet. The two marched down to the train station where they caught a train heading toward Venice.

Wally woke up, which was a surprise because his alarm clock hadn't rang.

He was about to get up when he felt something on his chest. He looked down and was surprised to see Artemis's head. Her long blonde hair pooled on the ground and she looked so peaceful. Wally would never admit it in a million years, but he thought she looked cute too.

He hated to wake her up, but they had a job to do. Plus, he was starving.

The comic book store exploded, throwing Wally and Artemis into the street. Torn pieces of paper and rubble from the store rained down around them.

"You okay?" Wally asked, getting off of Artemis.

"I'm fine. You?" Artemis replied, standing up.

"Good- ow!" Wally picked a piece of debris out of his back.

Crowds were gathering around the former store. People were running everywhere. It was a very chaotic scene.

"Cover me!" Wally said, ducking in an alley. Before Artemis could inquire anything, Kid Flash zoomed back.

"Artemis, checking in. All clear up here." Artemis radioed in. The rest of the Team radioed in their positions and status'.

"The parade is beginning." Robin said.

The Team had spread out along the straat the parade was taking place. Their was roughly one superhero every block. Artemis was the closest to the action. Her bow notched and ready, her watchful eye over the garrisons of policemen and women below her spot on Town Hall.

Aqualad was near the park where a pond conveniently located.
