I doubt it'll take much more than another decade for it to be legalized in the U.S. It'll be funny to tell our kids we grew up without legalized love or kush.

I don't think the government has any right to tell people what to do with their personal lives unless their actions directly infringe on someone else's rights. The usage of recreational marijuana- or any illegal substance, really- in and of itself doesn't correlate with anyone's life but the user and that user's personal relationships in most cases. Thus, the government shouldn't have a say in whether or not people can use marijuana or any currently illegal substance.

^ especially when you consider that the only argument against marijuana is health, but things like cigarettes and alcohol are totally legal and they're way worse than weed. The government literally has no grounds to make weed use illegal and plus it'll be really good FOR the gov if it's legalized. Less weed related prison sentences and hospital visits and it can be taxed and regulated.
