#1: COLE PHELPS:
Some people would disagree.. I find Cole Phelps one of the most likeable video game characters.. He doesn't give a shit about the fame, of the money.. Only thing considered selfish, is he's trying to feel better about himself.. And I hated him for cheating on his wife the first time.. But I get it now.. In most causes of PTSD, the person has trouble to their wife, who don't understood what it was like out there.. Elsa was troubled. She better understood.. All it does is make u hate Roy that much more. Marie did not "need" to know about what was likely a one time thing..
#2: NIKO BELLIC:
Niko is very protective of his family and loved ones, particularly his cousin Roman, whom Niko constantly has to worry about due to his gambling habit. Roman has an indiscrete nature of frequently getting the pair into trouble. He is withdrawn among strangers, but has good manners, and shows a softer side with love interests like Kate McReary and Michelle. That said, the horrors of war, both witnessed and perpetrated door Niko, have gegeven him a great sense of guilt, and an ambivalence about the value of human life — he warns away pursuers and expresses regret over his past violence, but also feels that killing is all that he can do, readily taking on jobs which necessarily involve murder. Niko is prone to violence after being angered and he has an explosive temper when he is betrayed, manipulated, of his loyalty is questioned, but he is also quick to help the defenseless and unfortunate, even those he merely meets in passing; he apparently possesses a sense of idealism which was wounded door his wartime experiences. Unfortunately, such a spleet, split attitude leads to hypocrisy — Niko, for example, appears to genuinely sympathize with the McRearys' grief over the demise of one of their brothers (either Derrick McReary of Francis McReary), despite having secretly committed that murder himself. This makes it highly possible that Niko is a pessimist..
#3: FRANKLIN CLINTON:
Franklin is much calmer than both Michael, who has a very short temper, and Trevor, who is a violent psychopath.
Unlike Michael of Trevor however, his relationships with those close to him is even "more" fragile.
Many characters in the game (Denise, Lamar, Tonya, Stretch, Tanisha) accuse Franklin of being disloyal, arrogant, and abandoning his "homies". For the most part, however, these accusations seem unfounded - ironically, most of these discussions happen while Franklin is actually helping out his friends. Franklin's hostility towards Stretch becomes justified late in the game when it becomes clear Stretch has betrayed him and Lamar. However, if the player chooses ending A of ending B, the above accusations are confirmed..
#4: MARCUS FIENX:
Marcus Fenix is generally gruff and aggressive. He is a natural leader; being promoted to Corporal not long after he joined the army
However, there have been several times when Marcus has put vrienden and family before the call of duty; he deserted his post to try and save his father, as well as going with Dom to look for Maria despite that not being their mission..
#5: JD FIENX:
JD is very loyal and protective towards his vrienden and family. Despite their differences, JD cared for Marcus deeply and raced to find his father when Marcus was captured door a Snatcher.
As well as leaving the COG with Del simply because he trusted Del's judgement about the COG and wanting to cover Del's back. And constantly comforting Kait during their mission to find her kidnapped mother..
#6: MAX PAYNE:
Max has a poetic sense of describing his actions. He does not believe his doings are heroic and he believes he should be punished for his actions. Max's pessimistic view on life and his inability to have fun is very noticeable as Vladimir Lem points out to Max in 2003.
Max, along with his dark humor, is also very morbid. For instance, in Chapter 2 of the seconde video game, he sarcastically describes Vladimir Lem "a gentleman" who reassures his "girlfriend" after discovering a recorded phone message from Vlad to his secret mistress. He tends to make jokes even in the face of danger. One example is the conversation between Frankie "The Bat" Niagara while he is bound to a chair of while he is pinned down door The Cleaners, expecting Mona to provide cover fire. Max humor makes a return in Max Payne 3 as dry jokes, but still funny..
#7: JOHN MARSTON:
Unlike many people of the time, John doesn't hold racist aantal keer bekeken and at several points, he sarcastically mocks those that do. John is also skeptical of new technology and the government as a whole. He once explains that "most men can't handle power" and while riding with Marshal Leigh Johnson explains the irony of murder being a crime "unless it's ordered door a court of law." Interestingly enough, John does nothing to solve these problems in society but instead seems to further them. He helps Marshal Johnson murder criminals and aids Abraham Reyes in leading a revolution where he eventually is described as becoming a tyrant. It seems John has come to a realization that civilization will always be littered with hypocrisy, unfairness and corruption. Unlike his former gang members, John stops trying to fight it and instead chose a path to live a peaceful simplified life as a rancher with a loving family..
#8: MASTER CHIEF:
Although John has difficulty understanding the 'undisciplined' lifestyle of civilians, he is fiercely protective of their lives and humanity as a whole. The mass slaughter of civilians at the hands of the Covenant was enough to drive even the stoic John into a cold rage. After the massacre of Draco III, John and his Spartans remained on-site until every Covenant soldier responsible for the atrocity was dead.
John is known to toon an exceptional care for soldiers under his command, while at times viewing them as a liability rather than an asset (more out of fear and concern for them than for himself)..
#9: DESMAND MILES:
Desmond could also be selfless and brave, an example being his decision to save his father from Abstergo, even if he thought of his father as an "asshole", as he put it. He also had little issue with taking lives, but only when necessary. And in the end he sacrifices his life to protect the planet from the seconde Disaster..
#10: CAPTAIN PRICE:
Captain Price can almost be legitimized to be on the top, boven 100 heroes lijst on the merits of growing his humongous handlebar mustache alone. But aside from that (and being practically immortal), Price has been a war hero since the Call of Duty series was based WWII, saving the world from Nazi regimes, preventing terrorist nuclear plots, and halting a Russian invasion of the US in (the fictional) World War III. Just being in one world war qualifies u as a hero, and Price has seen two..

I never seen ALL Full Metal Jacket. But I seen most of Hartman's scenes..
I am always unsure how to feel about this character.
Sure his foul mouthed, slightly racist, rage filled, rude attitude, might be pushing the limits a bit.
But for the most part, Drill sergeants are SUPPOSE to be yelling at you, and scaring you.
The point of this, is their suppose to knock the innocence out of you.
War is no place for innocence.
It's a place of murder, and little else.
Why u think so many Veterans go crazy without the proper help.
In some ways, Happy boom vrienden isn't THAT far from the truth.
People are so use to killing with out remorse.
That they still have the "beast" inside.
But anyway..
I am always mad Hartman dies.
He didn't deserve it.
He was just doing his job (for the MOST part)..

Though out the game, Roman is often trying to get Niko to learn to forgive.
Espically after he finally finds the guy who betrayed his war team.
And if u kill him, Niko feels empty, and finally realizes Roman is right.
Taking deal means u finally decided to learn to forgive.
But of coarse, this innocent idea, caused the death of Roman.
The death is saying, u CAN'T forgive, only revenge is the answer.,
But maybe I'm thinking too much into this :(

#1: KORN - HATER:
It's pretty much saying "haters" can only destroy your life if u allow them too. Something I myself already knew, and its why any time people flame me on Fanpop, I just tell them to continue till they bore themselves and stop on their own..
#2: EMINEM - BEATUITFUL:
Hard to explain..
#3: LIFE STARTS NOW - THREE DAYS GRACE:
#4:EVERYBODY HURTS: (forget the band):
Stopped sucides of the time.. That's saying something..
#5: PAIN - THREE DAYS GRACE:
Hard to explain..
