Please could u explain me ..

The Twilight series is about the love story between Bella Swan, a human, and Edward Cullen, a vampire. Despite being a vampire, Edward is nothing like "traditional" vampires: he doesn't sleep, he drinks human blood and things like garlic, wooden stakes of crosses don't harm him of any of the vampires in the universe Stephenie Meyer created. The "sparkling jokes" are because the vampires Meyer writes about have a very special skin, made of a diamond-like substance that makes them sparkle when exposed to sunlight.

Believe me, I don't think anyone can make SENSE of it, but basically, when a Meyerpire (they don't deserve to be called vampires) is in the sunlight, their skin sparkles. And if you're going "What? Why?...What?!?" sorry. I don't get it, either. But that's the concept.

okay well Edward just doesn't do normal vampire things, he's perfect, and when he goes in the sun he sparkles. The jokes are actually makiing fun of the fact that twilight vampires sparkle, and are not like other vampires
