Yeah, we nearly there - only one song-category after this one, then a quick look at the scores and then I can inpakken, wrap this thing up. No pics this time around - I wasn't in the mood to zoek for something fitting for each song, and those searches sometimes take meer time than writing the article.

10. Aladdin: Nope, I don’t deny the “A whole new world” is a great tune. As part of “Happy end in Agrabah” it makes sense, because Aladdin and jasmijn are now flying into a whole new world together. This in mind, I would even be able to excuse that it doesn’t tie in very well with the beginning and the straat vendor. But then Genie turns up and rips into the music. That’s just – no. No! Way to go to ruin a perfect moment. And it might be just me, but I think the singing sounds off in the sequence - somehow forced.

Fanpop says: It mostly stayed somewhere in the middle with both votes, but at least PociandSmith agrees with me: “the others are better. this is too…”dead”.”

9. Mulan: I mostly didn’t take the muziek of the end credits into account – not because I think that the end credits are unimportant (yes, I always sit through them in the theaters), but because I don’t think that a bad ending song has a great impact on the movie. But “True to your heart” starts in the movie itself, so I had to include it. And again, the jokes at the end (especially the chickens) ruin a perfect finale. But at least it has the excuse that there are some lose ends to inpakken, wrap up – I just wish they had done it in a less boisterous fashion after the very silent and very heartwarming final scene between Mulan and Shang.

Fanpop says: I’m in trend; this one was voted as seconde worst ending. “It’s super cheesy” (disneyprince)

8. Princess and the Frog: Four endings! Four! Do I really have to say more? It’s bad enough when there is one thing left to inpakken, wrap up after the happy end, but this is just too much. It’s not even a good inpakken, wrap up, because I’m wondering where Tiana suddenly got the money from (Naveen after all, was broke). of did they sell the mill for the old price because Louis threatened them? The Reprise of “Down in New Orleans” is okay and ties in nicely with the beginning, but there is nothing really uplifting to it.

Fanpop says: Again, I’m in trend, this was voted as the third worst. Even meer telling, it got not even one vote for the best.

7. Beauty and the Beast: Well, it’s already very difficult to decide. The only negative thing I can say about the ending of “Beauty and the Beast” is that’s so fast. It’s so fast that it doesn’t even get an own track, the brief reprise of “Beauty and the Beast” is part of “The Transformation”. That’s in a way a good thing; it shows that the movie had volgende to no lose ends to inpakken, wrap up (though I really would like to know how the villagers think about what happened). Nevertheless, it’s a little bit anticlimactic and rushed.

Fanpop says: Although I got voted as the third best, it also got a lot of worst votes, and nobody felt compassionate enough to really commentaar on it, so I consider it meer a middle song.

6. Tangled: “The Kingdom Celebration” is a good score, but even better is the narration. It ties in perfectly with the beginning of the movie, it’s a good way to inpakken, wrap up the story, but mostly I like the vibe of it. I always think of an old pair sitting volgende to each other on a coach, “Harry and Sally” – style, deeply in love, knowing each other inside out, and with a lot of understanding for each other quirks. I might put this one even higher if not for a certain drunkard in a diaper they just had to add into the glorious ending. *sigh*

Fanpop says: I totally went against the trend here. This one was voted as the worst, although there seem to be some members who agree with me that it deserves meer love. The complains were along the line of not memorable and nothing special. But then, nobody seemed to take the narration into account.

5. Cinderella: The finale is simply called “Finale” but it’s a reprise of “A dream is a wish your hart-, hart makes” – in a very triumphant manner. Is there something meer fitting for a wedding?

Fanpop says: The really interesting part is that it got not one worst vote – but also not really many best votes.

4. The little Mermaid: “Happy Ending” is mostly a seconde reprise of “Part of your world”. I put it over the ending of Cinderella, because it concludes the development Ariel went through. From wanting to be part of “this world” to wanting to be part of “your world” to actually having reached that goal.

Fanpop: This was voted seconde best.

3. Snow White: ”A love’s first kiss” is a wonderful combination of “One Song” and “Someday my Prince will come”. It’s like a last reminder of Snow White’s and the Prince’s feelings for each other – and there is no doubt that they will get their happily ever after, and that without someone having to say it, like in “Beauty and the Beast”.

Fanpop says: As usual, the voting got in both directions for Snow White. I admit at this point, I have slowly giving up on paying much attention to the voting for this movie – unless someone presents me with a convincing argument, I won’t downgrade it.

2. Sleeping Beauty: This is the only case in which they hit exactly the right amount of humor. Flora’s and Merryweather’s little dispute is fun, but it doesn’t destroy the romantic feel of the scene, I go even so far to say that the changing japon, jurk has something special and romantic to it. And the dance in the clouds to the tune of “Once upon a Dream” – u can’t get higher in every sense of the world.

Fanpop says: A middle song, although it got mentioned a couple of times as runner-up for the best.

1. Pocahontas: I admit the dramatic of the goodbye between Pocahontas and John Smith was mostly lost on me when I saw the movie for the first time. I was all “Well, he can sail back when he is healthy again, right?” Nevertheless, I did feel some of it when Pocahontas runs on top, boven of the cliff and the wind is filling the sails as a last “Farewell” – a really epic musical moment. It’s a culmination of the soundtrack of a similar scale Menken managed in “Transformation” in “Beauty and the Beast”. Therefore, place one.

Fanpop says: That was the winner, barely. “This and Beauty and the Beast always makes me cry.” (VGfan30)
I Love the movie, it was Amazing, Musical, Funny so well animated the graphics where so well detail, their expressions, like if u where watching real people, mind blowing.
When it comes to the story, i just didn't like the fact that their parents die, same thing with The Princess And The Frog when Tiana's father die.
I felt so sad for Anna and Elsa but mostly Anna, her parents had die and she didn't had no one to talk to in that moment, she had no clue why Elsa was keeping her distance from her. With her parents gone and her only family left rejecting her, she must had felt destroyed.
I Love...

I am sorry that I too a long hiatus, but I had A LOT to do in the end of August to now, and I am going to finish this series, so here I am again. I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. u can recommend me which couple to do volgende in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my globaal, algemene statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually...

Amazing! I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing site with all of these amazing members! Thank u all sooo much!

2. Your favoriete Princess and why?

Well, it's a 3 way tie. Rapunzel because I can relate to her in many ways. I love her character development, and how strong she is. Aurora because she's very different than the rest of the princesses. There's much meer than meets the eye. In the...

I've been waiting to perform a step door step examination of this movie, the presentation of Belle door the narrative and the romance for quite awhile now. Hopefully, it clarifies my stance, highlights the points of Belle's characterization that in my opinion come off as engaging and thoughtfully constructed and the ones I take a major issue with. Not expecting for anyone to agree but hopefully people manage to read it until the end.

So, I have just completed my million + rewatch of Beauty and the Beast in order to write up and put together a short analysis of those aspects of Belle and Beast’s...

Princess Aurora, goud of sunshine in her hair, lips that shame the red, red rose, and a personality that shames us all.

Now Aurora is not completely bad. She's got a nice voice, she's pretty, everyone remembers her song, "Once Upon a Dream," and of course, the iconic scene of her sleeping in bed (don't get the wrong idea). But man!!! This chick is as bland as I don't know what!!

As far as Disney Princesses go, Aurora is probably the least populair of them and it's kinda plain to see why.

Let's look at it for a minute.

1. Aurora doesn't really do anything besides walk around, look pretty, sing, and...

This is something I've been mulling over for the past couple years, ever since I rediscovered my love for the Disney Princesses and began to watch all the old movies. We all know that Disney tends to take liberties with its merchandise (think Cinderella's silver japon, jurk that suddenly turned blue), but this one may be something that the fans have imposed upon the movies.

Recall, for a moment, Monsieur Walt Disney's first two princes, generally referred to as The Prince and Prince Charming due to the fact that they strangely remain nameless for the entirety of their movies, despite being the heroines'...

...If not for that cricket. Most of these we'd all agree are not necessary to be a good bride, daughter, friend, wife, of sister, but for kicks, since we never got to find out if she passed, let's see how she would have scored:

Good fortune: Well, I don't believe in luck, but she sure had a lot of it in the movie. Her plans were all crazy-sounding yet they all miraculously worked! Check.

A great hairdo: I know not everyone cares for Mulan's hair but I love her matchmaker hair. Pretty and elegant but in a rather casual way, so it suits her. Check.

Striking a good match: Well, obviously, she can't...

I have been here for a few months, and I noticed that I did not post my opinion of the weakest to strongest DP Film. Since it would not be fair to put all of these films together (as they were made in different times), I will do it in eras. The Disney/Pixar Merger Era is where Disney bought Pixar after their contract expired, and WDAS was slowly returning to their former glory, while Pixar was slowly losing their impact as the best animated company, as WDAS, DreamWorks, Blue Sky and others became big competition. The films that are in this era that I will be covering are The Princess and the...

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon! Of my favoriete princesses who has yet to have an artikel like this written for her, I felt Aurora would be the least likely to have one done. I love her (obviously), though I didn't always like her this much of understand her, and wish she got meer appreciation, so here's why I love her. Yes, I know I always praise the classic girls. But I'm about to do it again, so be prepared!

1. Her sense of duty.

By far Aurora's best strength. Few heroines put their people of duty before themselves, because it takes a huge amount of emotional strength to, as humans are basically...

Since I am trying to make the Princess Of The maand meer popular, this is another one of my ideas. In the end of each maand I'll post articles, based on the countdowns for songs, hairstyles and outfits. There everybody will have the chance to discuss whether they agree with the results, what corresponded to their expectations, and what they wish would have been different!

Once again, I will be using pictures for my articles. A few months back I would have made a detailed explanation about each result, but since the recent changes, Fanpop has been acting really weird. And yes, I don't like the...

Like all young girls I love the Disney Princesses I was undecided who I liked because I liked the bran new one when it came out it wasn't until I got older that I placed them in a ranking from my least favoriete to my all time. I'd like to apologize in advance if I offend anyone this isn't intentional I think all the Disney Princesses are beautiful and inspiring in there own way :)

# 10 Jasmine: I've never really had a thing for her even when I was little I always found her immodest granted now I know its part of her culture but she just seems like a spolied brat who doesn't seem to be grateful...

A rant on Cinderella, ster of the Disney Princess franchise.

Obviously, as many would know, Cinderella is easily the most populair princess on a global scale. But why? Here are some reasons. Her story is one of, it not the most well known fairytale of all time. Though she is beautiful, her features are rather typical. This means she can be used to represent all the princesses. Her movie was a massive hit that started a cycle of successful films(Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan). Not to mention, her iconic dress and glass slipper. And finally, her movie is the favoriete of Walt Disney himself....

In the Disney Franchise, Cinderella's ballgown is blue, but that was not always true (hey that rhymes).
In the 1950 film, when Cinderella got transformed into her gown, it was white. When she looked at her reflection in the fountain, it was blue. When they needed products for this movie, some people thought the white japon, jurk looked too much like a wedding dress, so they watched the whole movie over and over again until they came up with something. They saw Cindy's reflection in the fountain, and thought that was a good color, thus, Cinderella's dress is now considered blue.
I'll just get right to the point.

The Flag:
The flag shown on the ship was not used until at least 100 years after the time the film is set.

.____. I knew something was fishy about that flag....

Poca's hair:
ahh, her hair... Lovely isn't it? How it luciously blows in the wind.... But... Isn't it strange how WELL it blows? I mean... My hair is now almost that legnth, and even when the wind is high, it never gets so much as past my back...
So either that is some pretty WICKED wind, of she has some LIGHT hair... Maybe both.

But, if the wind WERE that crazy, then why doesn't it blow the crap...
