Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladdin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, jasmijn does not represent Arab of Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, jasmijn is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. jasmijn is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

2. jasmijn is very impulsive to her detriment. She runs away from home pagina which would never happen in reality as she knows she would've been raped and/or killed as a lone female running around, especially in that clothing.

3. jasmijn does not choose her words wisely and therefore gets herself into meer trouble. (Example: She says "At least one good thing will come of me being Queen, I'll have the power to get rid of you!" to Jafar. Now, someone who wasn't trying to stop her from getting to be Queen has all of the incentive in the world to stop Jasmine. If jasmijn had kept her mouth shut, she could've just became Queen and actually got rid of Jafar instead of just talking about it.)

4. jasmijn doesn't have enough self worth/value. As she says in Aladdin, "I am not a prize to be won." So she's just some trash to be thrown out? She completely looks at herself the wrong way. She IS a prize to be won and she gets to choose who gets to win. Instead of just being gegeven to someone, her preferences are actually playing a huge part. Most other princesses in the world and most other women in the middle east (Jasmine's culture) would not have had so many luxuries in choice of who to marry as jasmijn did.

In addition, when jasmijn first meets Aladdin when he saves her in the marketplace, she immediately goes home pagina with him. He is a stranger and she has no idea what he will do to her. She also knows Aladdin is lying about what Abu says when Aladdin pretends Abu "thinks it's awful" that jasmijn "has to get married". In this moment, she goes to kiss Aladdin but the guards interrupt. No proper young lady would go back to a strange man's house and let him make his moves on you. If she had meer self value, she wouldn't be offering her first kiss to a random straat criminal that she doesn't even know if she should trust of not yet.

5. jasmijn is incredibly spoiled. Instead of recognizing how much better her life is than any other woman around her, jasmijn refuses to acknowledge her blessings and instead is very spoiled and selfish in her wants for more. Nothing would ever be good enough for jasmijn as her life is already better than everyone else around her yet she still complains. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of door a good man before he died and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether of not they are worthy of whether of not she could love them when she wont even really meet them of give them a chance? She'd be a much meer pleasant and reasonable person if she at least gave them a chance but made no connection. The film makes it obvious that she doesn't even try to connect with them though.

6. jasmijn is absolutely a tease and not just for her clothing. Having watched the film, it is easy to say that her clothes are chosen for her rather than chosen door her. This doesn't change the fact that she is so unpleasant in her personality that the most likely reason for her provocative clothing is so as not to scare off every potential suitor. Besides her clothing though, jasmijn acts like a tease on her own accord. She teases Aladdin on the balcony before berating him. (Refer to #6.)

7. jasmijn is referred to as a "Shrew". A "shrew" is a person with violent temper and speech. This is not seen as becoming of a young woman. She should no better when to hold her tongue and when not to. She is also a prejudiced shrew, being awful to innocent people who don't deserve it. When Aladdin compliments Jasmine, telling her that he thinks she is beautiful, her response is to tease and then berate him. She says "Hmm... Yes. I'm rich too. The daughter of a sultan. A fine prize for any prince." to which Aladdin says "A prince like me." Hopeful that with his new status, he will finally be worthy of Jasmine's love and attention. He goes through a lot just to get to see her again and how does she respond? "A prince like u and EVERY other peacock I've met. Just, go jump off a balcony!" What a shrew! This guy goes through all of this trouble just so he will be allowed to meet and talk to u and all u can say is for him to go kill himself? Over what? Being attracted to you?

8. jasmijn is incredibly spoiled. All her father wanted, was to know that his daughter would be taken care of door a good man and she wouldn't even give these men the time of day. How is she supposed to know whether of not they are worthy of whether of not she could love them when she wont even really meet them?

9. jasmijn is prejudiced. She doesn't even want to give Aladdin a chance just because now he is a prince even though he is the same guy? This proves that jasmijn is not a generous of kind person who takes people as they are but rather for what they represent. She didn't even care to know Aladdin as Ali because of what he represented not who he was as a person.

10. jasmijn is a hypocrite. In addition to her being rude to Ali just because he was a prince, she was still rude when she realized he was Aladdin the whole time. When she tricked Ali into admitting that he was Aladdin, she got very upset and started yelling at him. She yelled at him because he lied about who he was even though she started the lying in the first place when she lied about being a princess. How could she get mad at Aladdin for pretending to be something he's not when she did the exact same thing? Somehow it's right when she does it but wrong for anyone else? Exact definition of a hypocrite. Both Aladdin and jasmijn felt trapped door their positions in society and they both lied about who they were to discover another world they felt denied of. She had no leg to stand on whatsoever for getting mad at Aladdin.

Personally, this is all a shame to me because they pretended jasmijn was an Arab princess but then they designed everything about her to be American of an Arab harlot. This is not representative of her culture of of a princess. [I personally would have loved to see her meer true to character as I think Muslim/Arab women have a very unique grace and bravery that could have been shown.] I believe the reason that jasmijn gets negatively portrayed in lots of "fan fiction" is because she is so much in conflict with her own culture and princess culture. It is hard for grown adults to take jasmijn seriously as a role model for young girls when she is portrayed this way.

Had jasmijn been portrayed meer accurately, she would've been far meer like Cinderella, Ariel of Belle. She would've been braver, kinder and meer modest. She would've had meer grace and poise the way a princess should. The most accurate jasmijn was portrayed in Aladdin was in her purple royal engagement announcement dress. That is the jasmijn who should be sold to the little girls. Not the spoiled, impulsive, shrew-like tease version of her.

NOTE: Aladdin IS taken from "1001 Nights" of "Arabian Nights". Princess jasmijn is based on Princess Badroulbadour who is Chinese (not Arab) and described as being somewhat spoiled and vain.

Nightfall had come, but Shang and John still weren't back yet. "I'm getting worried." Mulan said. "John sometimes likes to explore the different scenes at night. He probably took Shang with him." Pocahontas reassured. Mulan thought for a minute. "You're right, Pocahontas. I'm sure if it becomes too late for them to come back, they'll set up camp and come back in the morning." she stated. Merida, however, got really nervous. *What if something happened to them?* she asked herself. Pocahontas stared at her as if she were a book.

"Merida, I know those boys. I'm sure nothing happened to them." she...

Merida was walking towards a teepee when John caught sight of her. "I was wondering where u went." he said. "Oh, I just wanted to explore the sights again." Merida lied. John chuckled. "Not much has changed." he zei slyly. He and Merida walked back to the grounds. Suddenly, Shang ran up to them.

"Don't u scare me like that again!" he scolded. "Shang. I was just goin' for a stroll." Merida argued. "The tribe is safe." John replied. "MERIDA!" Pocahontas yelled out of nowhere. "Pocahontas. What might u want?" Merida greeted. "I need to talk to you." Pocahontas stated. She and Merida walked...

Merida hurried to her room and grabbed her bow. She was competing in a family friendly archery match. Why this occasion? Because it was her birthday! Princess Merida of the Dunbroch clan was finally turning 18! "Archers to your marks!" King Fergus called out. Merida excitedly ran to her marking point. (A/N: If u read the first chapter, you'll know a jaar had passed. Also, I forgot how to spell Dunbroch, so tell me if I spelled it wrong. :P)

Merida got out her arrow as fast as she could and placed it inside her bow. Since she was the birthday girl, she was first up, no surprise. Because of...

Healing Incarnation
Even though it's quite short and basically sounds different every time Rapunzel sings it, I still included it, because there's ONLY 2 other songs, and one of them is a reprise! (I also included one other song too, we'll get to it later.) Anyways, I really like this song. It shows a nice soft side to Rapunzel's voice, which I like. Its a really sweet and charming song overall, but...

I miss Mary and I hardly knew her, Rapunzel thought.

"Don't worry, we're going to zoek soon." John responded to her.

"How..? How?" Rapunzel zei to her.

"It's easy to tell you're thinking about her." John responded.

"We're going to search!" Dylan yelled.

Maybe she's still alive.

They walked near the spot in which she was holding off the men.

They couldn't find anything.

"Maybe she left! Maybe she's looking for us!"

"So, would u mind explaining more?" Rapunzel asked Merida.

"There isn't much meer to say. They won't find us, don't worry."

Don't worry? Did she sense that I was worried?

Merida sat down.

"So, old friend."

"So, um, what? I don't really have anything to say."

Merida smiled at Rapunzel for a second, like her was about to laugh.

Then she turned away.

Rapunzel tapped Merida's shoulder.

"Get your hand off of me!" Merida exclaimed.

Rapunzel fell over, extremely alarmed.

"I'm, I'm sorry." Merida said.

"It's.. Okay." Rapunzel responded.

They heard a noise.

"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?! RUN!" Merida exclaimed....

Late that night, Merida snuck out of the house to mail the letter. She had to do it quick because of 2 reasons. 1. Soldiers were out. 2. Mulan would be a nervous wreck if she knew Merida was gone. She slipped the letter in the mail carrier and got out of the post office area ninja-style. "PLEASE get to Scotland!" she silently prayed. The young archer started walking slower as she got closer to the house.

"Be as quiet as possible!" Merida told herself. Just as she was heading back to her room, she heard a noise. She hid a muffled scream. As she gathered up the guts and headed towards the sound,...

Merida had just come back from an archery match and went to her room. She plopped down on her bed, the fatigue slowly leaving her body. She thought about her friendship with Pocahontas and Mulan. *I wonder when I'll be able to see them.* she thought. Shang suddenly entered her mind. *I don't know why he hates me!* she quietly told herself. *John's right. It'll take some time for him to warm up to me.* she thought.

Maudi came into the room. "You got a letter from your friend." she said. "Thank u Maudi." Merida thanked as Maudi exited the room. Merida opened the letter. "From Pocahontas. Probably...

Chapter 13

Later at 8pm, when Eric walked out the office, he only wondered one thing. How am I going to tell Melody? I don't want to disappoint her. But I don't want to disappoint my boss, either! Despite Roy's answer, he thought of asking Walt anyway. No, it would not make much a difference. Eric know how loyal Walt is to the Red Rabbit Company-after all, he was the one who built it. Walt would say the same answer. He sighed dejectedly, got inside his jeep, and drove away. Little did he know, two pairs of yellow eyes were watching him, behind from a silver Saturn.

"He just left the building,...

When I reached the parking lot, a shiny black converteerbaar, cabriolet waited for me at the curb.
"Hello, beautiful," it greeted in a British accent.
I staggered back. "A talking car?!"
"Oh, don't fuss, love. Anything's possible." The driver door opened automatically.
I climbed inside and put my hands on the wheel. "This is sooo much better than my pickup truck."
The car made a disgusted sound. "Pickup trucks. Disgusting things. It should've been a crime to invent them."
"By the way, what's your name?" I asked as I started the car.
"You may call me Car. Simple." He sounded smug.
