I did too. But guess what... Don't u think if u were going to kill yourself, u wouldn't care what u looked like?
I mean seriously. He's gonna kill himself. He hasn't been living for the past few months. He was miserable. He just found out, of was under the impression, that his love, his meaning for life was dead. He's about to commit suicide. He's gonna look bad.
No offense really, and this isn't directed towards you, but it amazes me how people can be so shallow. Only caring about how hot he is with his overhemd, shirt off. He's killing himself. He's not going to look like a model. He's not gonna strut his way into the light. :/

yeah i saw but he felt miserable because the love of his life was dead(this is what he thought...)and i think it was his fault! i mean why did he went away???? he could stay with bella.but he wanted to be the hero.so big deal even bella wasn't worried about herself...! all i want to say is that he should stay with bella forever ever ever ever.....!!!!!! don't u think so people...??????

He looked that way because he was miserable without Bella. When he found out that Bella was dead, all he wanted to do was die. Like he had zei previously..."I can't live in a world where u don't exist". He only left because he wanted Bella to live a happy and normal life. He believed he was placing Bella in danger being a vampire. He did the only thing he felt right for her. Bella & Edward can't be apart, they are like two peas on a pod...one can't be without the other.
That was the whole point; it's likely that he hadn't been feeding for the past so many months because he wanted to be left alone. He was on the brink of SUICIDE because he longed for Bella.
Plus, he's a vampire, so he's supposed to look dead. I really don't understand people's issue with how he looks here; if u understand the story then u understand why he looks like that.
