Damon walked through the aisles of the hospital when he bumped into someone.
“Aaah, hot coffee” Bonnie groaned. She had two paper cups of coffee in her hand, only now there was not much left of it.
“What are u doing here?”
“I wanted to see how Elena’s doing. Caroline zei she wasn’t feeling very well and then Jeremy told me u brought her here” Bonnie explained a little out of breath. “I thought she might like some coffee, but actually I’m not sure she’s allowed to drink it. Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore”
“No, I mean, what are u doing here?” Damon repeated his vraag sharply. When he saw Bonnie’s confused expression, he continued. “You’re the reason Elena’s here in the first place”
“What?”
“If u hadn’t come up with that ridiculous crap of thee curing cancer, she’d be okay right now” Damon snapped.
“I didn’t force her to drink it. She had a choice and she chose to trust me” Bonnie replied in defense.
“And u failed her again” Damon pointed out.
Bonnie closed her eyes and prayed for patience. “Damon” she zei when she opened them up again. “I swear I only had good intentions. I’ve learned my lesson. u think I was on a vacation? I went to a shrink to get over my problems with you. I was doing fine with Caroline, Elena didn’t seem to be so angry anymore, Jeremy talks to me again. Even u cared enough to tell me to be careful. Why would I want to risk any of that?”
Damon thought about and realized she had a point.
“Fine, then” he gave in reluctantly. He told her where she could find his girlfriend. “I’ll get some meer coffee”

Twilight took over the day. Bonnie was in Caroline’s room. She was lucky her friend had been so kind to offer her a place to stay now that her house was ruined. Bonnie had tried to call Elena, but the line had been busy all day. She just wanted a chance to say she was sorry, but she realized at this point it was too much to ask.
So when her phone rang and she saw it was Elena calling she hastily picked up. “Elena?”

In zijn nieuwe memoires vertelt de voormalige Backstreet Boys-zanger Nick Carter dat hij nog steeds moet leven met de gevolgen busje, van zijn vroeger drugs- en alcoholgebruik. "Ik heb er een depressie aan overgehouden", getuigt hij. Voor Carter is het alweer zes jaar geleden sinds zijn laatste drugs- en drankuitspatting. In zijn nieuwste autobiografie "Facing the muziek and Living to Talk about It" beschrijft hij schoffel, hoe hij op één nacht een dosis xtc, cocaïne en wodka achterover sloeg. In het Amerikaanse magazine Touch vertelt hij dat hij er spijt busje, van heeft. "Dit had ik nooit moeten doen. Die drugs hebben iets kapot gemaakt in mijn hersenen, sindsdien heb ik last busje, van depressie."
